I have one problem with this presentation - how likely is that Sanhedrin had built tombs for executed criminals, rather then just regular trench graves ? (Like in a graveyard in the dirt)
Whats the evidence that this temporary burial places were tombs, not trench graves ?

Finally !...a popular scholar who seems to fully understands 1st century Jewish burial law, practice and tradition...unlike John the Baptist, whose disciples could bury his body (Mark 6:29)...the reason the family and disciples of Jesus could not request the body of Jesus, but Joseph of Arimathaea a Sanhedrin member could and did...was because Jesus's body was under the authority and possession of the Sanhedrin, until decomposition,... being entrusted to the Jewish Council, with their full responsibility to produce it to the family in a year or so...it was because Jesus body was not placed as usual in the dishonored criminals tomb, but rather Joseph's new tomb......that the concerned Council requested the additional guard and seal on it (Matt 27:4-66; Gospel of Peter[Ehrman trans.] 29-33; Gospel of Nicodemus "A" [Erman trans.] 12:1, 13:1-2, 15:5) ...1st century Jews would fully understand all of this and also the embarrassment to the Sanhedrin when Jesus's body went missing...Hence the desperate need for a cover-up (Babylonian Talmud, Sanhedrin 46a & 46b)….

I DNT like how you say that because your a scholar that somehow u have the right to portray or dictate wat is and wat isn't right about the tomb of Jesus son of Joseph you push aside anything tht doesn't fit ur perfect guideline of scholarship an don't have a open mind history is always changing n evolving in light of new things being discovered therefore scholars should always keep a open mind of things or ppl will never truly understand the past and it's wonders

...no single scholar can button up the truth ...the "Lost Tomb of Jesus ©️ and ossuaries were originally opened in 1980 (over 41 years ago)...and the claim that it contained Jesus of Nazareth by Simcha and Cameron was made in 2007 (over 14 years ago)...and since the media Hub Bub has died down ...nothing but scholarly crickets 🦗💤...wikipedia has captured a fraction of the near universal negative scholarly reaction...here's a sample...
The Washington Post reports that William G. Dever, who has been working as an archaeologist in Israel for 50 years, offered the following:
"I've known about these ossuaries for many years and so have many other archaeologists, and none of us thought it was much of a story, because these are rather common Jewish names from that period. It's a publicity stunt, and it will make these guys very rich, and it will upset millions of innocent people because they don't know enough to separate fact from fiction."...
Apparently you are one of those innocents people now upset..."Physician Heal Thyself" (Luke 4:23)
