This video really helped me, I completely changed how I was playing off of the simple understanding in this video. It's safe to say my time in Supreme Commander 2 is spend on modding and NOT getting good hahaha!

@@alphahex99 9700k @ 5.3ghz and a 1080 ti kingpin. I doubt its me, iv played this game on and off over the last 10 years and its ALWAYS done this. Longer you play the slower the game runs.
@@alphahex99 single with lots of AI. I like to do 1+ hour turtle games. It just gets to a point where 1 second of gsme time takes like 3-4 seconds of real time lol. Just gets unplayable, and this is one of my fav games. Have a good day and thanks.
@@4gbmeans4gb61 It's because your computer is calculating all the movement for the AI as well, and that is a lot more taxing than you may think (think of how on old PC chess games, the hardest difficulty AI would take minutes to an hour to make its move because of all the calculations needing to be done).
Gotta play strong opponents, especially in 1v1s, to avoid stagnating :P If you only play against AI that always plays the same and the same strats work every time you won’t learn.

For real, play wow and try getting into mythics or raids, even pokemon. Everyone uses the same OP types because if you don't, you're playing the game wrong because it works, but it just isn't optimal. Fucking lifestylers, tryhards and autists, man, the ultimate killjoys.

Bring your friends or go on the discord and look for new players: discord.gg/3xf6cRn If you want help I can coach you. People playing the game a lot will inevitably keep improving and yeah if there weren’t pros then the game would have way less players because they are who play the most.
So me and a few freinds play on xbox.. they should make the 3rd one already and let it be cross plat, I didn't know the game had a community, all you dudes are fun to watch🤌 maybe mod it so the units cosmetically look different, could be a cool idea for yall
