3: some monsters are original, but this game is supposed to be the backrooms, of course theirs copied backrooms entities
4: it doesnt have LOADS of lore, but it has some pretty interesting lore
5: this one is opinion, you cannot say "this is better because theres a good storyline", it is completely a opinon
6: theres also good voice acting, one example is The Skin Stealers cries, from level 8, but again "good voice acting" is also opinon
7: sure, the past owner was racist but that doesnt mean much now that theres a new owner, the people involved tried their best to leave it behind by getting a new owner, switching their group name, and transferring games
8: some are detailed, like the blood splotches of the skin stealer on level 8, however, the mimic does have a advantage here.
9: apeirophobia doesnt have frequent updates, but thats because when they update (the most recent updates) its totally new, they add new levels, entities, and sometimes badges/titles
10: "its scary" is a opinion statement, you could say either is scarier and because thats your opinion, itd be true for you
11: underrated is also a opinion statement, i could say "blox fruits is underrated" and because its a opinion, its true for the speaker

when i first played mimic with my friend, it was on par with apeirophobia regarding mazes and fetch quests. took so long to get through the mazes, and have only played once again ever since lol. granted it’s been awhile and ive seen they’ve thrown out a lot of updates

Before going here and protesting about your favorite horror game, look at both sides first and compare their story, gameplay, etc. Personally I love both games but Apeirophobia is actually unique even if its just based on The Backrooms. They have different kinds of monsters that you need to figure out what their strengths are compared to Mimic where most of the monsters are just there to chase you until you die no matter how big they are.

Apeirophobia is based on the backrooms, their games and details looks creepy and all, and it’s hard for me to complete it.
And for the Mimic is based on the Japanese Myths/Urban Legends, and their details on the characters and the map is very unique and creative. Their games looks so real for that. And their difficulty is also hard just like Apeirophobia.
But. The Mimic is the Og of the horror roblox games, so I give this video a win, lol.

..The mimic is about that, The Evil God created 4 beasts to destroy world, Beast of control-Kintoru Beast of Jealousy-Enzukai Beast of Rage-Netamo and Beast of rebith Yuma. And now, every of these four have their own book where is protagonist (player) going to destroy the beast..I can explain book I (Kintoru's book Control)
Kintoru is a lady dressed in black eith long dark hair and black hat and red lips, her hands have big long nails, she is holding her puppets with them
And now the storyline. Kintoru killed one full family (Masashige family) members of this family have rurned into spirits (white glowing butterflies)

I’m just gonna say this now (although I think everyone probably knows this by now). Mimic book 1 was actually scary because the developers actually spent equal amount of time on the story and the jump scares and sounds, but in book 2, the developers are mainly focused on the graphics and story.
Both are very good, and each has its strengths.

The reason why I didn't like Apeirophobia is because the game only has good graphics and the gameplay is bad. The Mimic managed to make me have fun playing a horror game.
