    Dude sweet video 🤜cheers for the shout out. Looks like you had a blast and nicely put together. Just noticed in quite a few shots your pack looks abit wonky, might be worth having a fiddle 😉.. If you ever want a hand dialing down you gear give us a hola 🤜

      Mate you are more than welcome for the shout out. Glad you liked the vid. It's been a lot of fun and learnt a lot from it.😁
      Yeah it did look wonky at times. Didn't notice when it was on my back. Learnt a lot doing this hike. Looking forward to getting out again and trying a few more bits out.🤓
      Will definitely take you up on that offer on how to work with the gear. Will be revisiting some of your vids in the mean time to see what I can learn😁

      So many hills after the motorway. If there is any potential uphill the route planners found it 😂

      Thank you. Would recommend it. The walk is really interesting. Varied terrain and not just road stomping. Thanks for the support🙂

    Well done on getting on the trail. It looks like your nerves melted away to be replaced by a lot of fun. You were in a good mood and why wouldn't you be out there. The pitch worked out in the end - all you need is s mall space to tuck into. Well, good going. I'll be doing the trail this year sometime. All the best. Mark P.S if you wanna check out some of my multi day hikes feel free.

    🙏🏻 yeah!!! Good to see you getting out for a longer one dude ❤️ nice to see that area too, the trail at the beginning looks a bit like the pennine way with the slabs and the moorland 😁
    What’s next??

    Great video, how easy was it to Keep on the track. I want to do this, got plenty of walking experience just my navigation is off sometimes lol. Where there any streams along the way where you can use water filter to top up fluids ?

    • @MilestoneOutdoors
      @MilestoneOutdoors  11 месяцев назад +1

      The trail sections I did were fairly straight forward. Sometimes needed to go a bit further than I wanted to see trail markers but when I did nav it was fairly easy.
      I only topped up water once for the two days. Weren't many streams. Popped into a garage though and used their tap in the end

    Hi Just found your video on offa's dyke path .Can I ask did you camp in llandegla forest?.
    It's just that the camp site in llandegla is closed .There is the fishery but don't fancy going off track to there .
    So was wondering looking at your video it looks like Llandegla forest where I'm hoping to camp .
    Many thanks
    Billy

      Hi Billy. Thanks for taking the time to watch. I camped out NE of Moel Arthur car park. Check out Llyn rhys campsite. That is just north of Llandegla forest and not far off route there. ATB on your adventure 😁

    Good video.Da iawn.Was hoping to do most of Llwybr Clawdd Off last year.Had to cancel twice for obvious reasons.Hopefully later this ywar.Have done a small part starting from Prestatyn.Obviously looking at these hikking videos on youtube can spoil the surprise a bit before you actually do the walk.But suspect many hikking videos are extremely popular now due to Covid restrictions.Da iawn.

      Thanks for the kind words Martin. Yeah it was a lot of fun. Would love to complete the rest of it at some point. I know what you mean about some of the surprises. Think I've started using vids like these to prepare as well knowing where to camp or get water we're my main thoughts. Thanks for the support. Hopefully we can get in the trail again soon 😁

    I am planning to walk from Trevor to Prestatyn with my Dog, Are there any cafes on the route

    • @MilestoneOutdoors
      @MilestoneOutdoors  3 года назад

      Not really. At least not without going off route too much. I found a little village shop in Llandegla. Then filled up on water again in Bodfari at a construction yard. Some places might have opened up like the odd pub since I did it tho
