Thean Hou Temple was actually a Taoist temple, mainly for worshipping Chinese sea goddess Mazu. People sometimes called it a Buddhist temple cuz Chinese religion in Malaysia were always pretty mixed up, even within the temple itself also have shrine for Guanyin Bodhisattva.
