This is definitely my favorite love suite event, a truly realistic relationship with no disturbing or forced moments. I can relate to this so much with a guy I like. It's so sad that Ryoma died without motivation. I wished he was more developed into the cool, kind-hearted guy he really is. I wish Kurumi would understand that too, but I felt that she didn't because of her role. He definitely deserves respect.
Ryoma or Gonta should survive with the 3 survivors who survived this 53rd killing game.

This is my favorite Love Suite event. Ryoma is so wonderful; I wish they did more with his character, because we saw so little of him before he died.
This is one of the only Love Suite events where Shuichi is truly comfortable. And I’m glad Ryoma’s event is platonic, with vaugely romantic undertones, if you even interpret it as romantic at all.
It just shows the misery Ryoma feels, and how Shuichi feels so empathetic towards him.

I feel so bad for Ryoma. He died without having anything to live for. He sacrificed himself to benefit the others. Poor guy just wanted to know who cared about him, but when he found out it was nobody he completely gave up.

Raushan Mateen Both Ryoma and Shuichi are teenagers. Every student in Danganronpa is a teenager (with the exclusion of Yasuhiro, who is 21). I think that it was mentioned a while ago that all the students are 17-Or believe they are 17 due to memory loss-when their own respective Killing Games are happening. So, Ryoma and Shuichi are the same age, and in their late teens.

Raushan Mateen While Kirumi’s ordeal is pretty strange, Ryoma’s life makes sense. When he got involved with the mafia, I would posit him to be around 15-16. And after the whole legal battle and such, as well as prison time, he would be 17. While Ryoma is a minor, he would be given little mercy by the legal system since he killed an entire mafia.
I just want Ryoma to be happy and loved in a relationship full of understanding and mutual respect is that too much to ask

I feel that Chris Tergliafera did a bit of a better job with this role than he did Gundham. It's a little more subdued. It's enjoyable. His Gundham was a bit harder to swallow. I feel as though there could have been a better casting choice for Gundham. But regardless. I know that Chris did amazing with Ryoma.
It would've been better if he was voiced by Eric newsome.

I was crying when they show his death scene. He finally overcame his past and try to move forward, but died tragically. His motive video was too heartbreaking. It's a suicide and I cant blame Kirumi either ;_; RIP Ryoma you deserve so much better

When I started Danganronpa v3, I already knew there was something different about Ryoma. The only other short guy they had made in the game, Teruteru, was an unlikeable pervert, but I was so excited to see a tough short guy that wasn't like him. Honestly, I feel like he was one of the best characters that some people can emotionally connect to as well. I just wish he saw us as friends versus seeing himself as a sacrifice :( I feel like most of the player base wanted to help him.

I wish he was a survivor, he is such a cool character. I don't like it when gag characters like Himiko stick around for so long, she is okay, she also had her character development which was fine. But I have a bigger affinity towards more srs and adult characters like Ryoma. I think he finding his meaning in life in the 6th trial or something would have been awesome to see.

I relate to this video a lot more then I would like to admit. My boyfriend has been through a lot, multiple times where I thought I lost him forever. But I’ve always stuck with him, believing in him getting better. I remember one time I showed him a picture of a discord dm between me and his friend where they said they’ve already gave up on him. When I showed him he told me that he thought that I already gave up on him. I cried when I saw that, I can never give up on him. Sure, I have my problems too, but we both equally help eachother. That’s all that matters.
