Jean! Greetings from Dallas! This was an amazing video! I loved seeing into the individual rooms and meeting the designers! So much fun!!! Thank you!!!
Thanks, Jean, for highlighting these designers! It's so much fun to see what goes on at Market. Some of who you showed are newer to me and I was intrigued by their designs. I look forward to checking them out. It was so interesting when you discovered two other samplers with the same border as your Janet Irving!
I am so glad that you posted this video. I reside just a few miles from the hotel where the show occurs. But I can't attend. Happy to get a look inside!
Jean what an awesome time in Nashville! Thank you for sharing the shops you shared with us. What beautiful pieces of works. How can we stitch them all?
Thank you so much for mentioning Colonial Knots to the lovely Michelle Bendy, in place of French Knots. I am very glad I was told that Colonial's are a good substitute for French early on in my cross stitching. I wish designer's would offer Colonial's as alternatives as I frequently pass on this information to stitcher,s who like me, have not heard of this before. Maybe you could mention it on your informative flosstubes?
Thanks for the recap Jean! I saw some designers and pieces i have not seen before...very interesting. I have been going back and watcbjng some of your older videos...learning as i go. I do have a question or two about cleaning my stitching...1. If you are stitching with silks, are there the same worries about color bleed? 2. I have heard some fabrics are not color fast as well. My guess would be we should test their colorfastness if in doubt. 3. I have heard some people use beeswax to condition their silk thread, but others say that will discolor the silk over time. Is t his true? Thank you as always i learn so much from you!
Thank you so much for sharing. I wasn’t familiar with many of these designers and it was wonderful to see their work! So many beautiful things!
