I've heard MANY different of versions of this fight theme and all I have to say is THIS is how it should be done.
Whenever I listen to this version of the song I’m like “a FF8 remake would be godly”
I'm pretty hopefully it'll happen. Apparently, Square Enix is about to go on remaking spree of their classic titles.

Amazing orchestration, on par with your other work. I know it's an existing piece of music but the fact that your arrangements not only stay true to the originals but also enliven and invigorate them with flourishes of your own, whilst sounding like the track could have been recorded by a live orchestra make you singular amongst RUclipsrs who have covered Uematsu's music.
You're amazingly good! Square should totally hire you!

This is the only version that is the Playstation version. All other versions that I've heard is the PC version which, while it's grown on me, is not the same!

*stolen MIDI file from online, put cheap MIDI instruments in place of old ones* maybe put that instead of saying orchestrated by you lol
I got news for you kid. I've listened to tons of MIDI files for game music, especially Final Fantasy, and they all do things a little different, I've almost NEVER come across MIDI files that straight up match the notations of the game music as closely as this. It takes a fair bit more work than copying some MIDI files and replacing instruments.
Most music production is done on workstations these days, nitpicking over whether or not an orchestra is live is beyond the point. lmao stay mad nerd
