Zofingen, Switzerland

The city of Zofingen, in the Swiss canton of Aargau, has a long history dating back to the 12th century and beyond. It prospered as a walled market town because it was on the trade route from Basel to Lucerne in central Switzerland, and as the film shows it has some fine historic architecture. The gentle music soundtrack underlines the peacefulness of the city on a sunny winter’s day, with people going quietly about their business on foot and by bicycle, so that when some traffic is seen on the outskirts near the end of the film, it is quite a surprise!

i was here on November 2012 for training at Muller Martini company and stayed at Zofingen Hotel, really nice to see this video and bring back my remembering times at this town, want to see video during winter at Zofingen. cool stuff
