Great fun. My brother builds replica jeeps that look spot on in every detail. He did a trip across to France from Wales with a convoy of his jeeps, a few years ago for the D Day commemorative.
No major. Broken exhaust pipe, did emergency repair with couple of Coke cans, it was a bit noisy. Braking was not balanced, so kept my distances and slowed to a halt.
Hi Philip, hope all good with you. Yes it is 1963 M201 Hotchkiss, made from WWII left overs. I have kept it in its original French camo of the time it went into storage. It was an unplanned return due to strikes in France. Enjoyed the experience, but not on the same par as your Dakar endurances.
@@CavalryClub A nice piece of kit I also noticed on your journey you parked up beside a Citroen Mehari I am currently down in Spain due to the lockdown since last October I play with the mehari quite often It is the same one I bought off Pearse Buckley. Still Riding motorbikes a couple of times a week with a chap called Sean Pendred the father of Garry who I’m sure you know keep up the good work and keep safe
@@PhilipGunn I still think Pearse regrets parting with that Mehari. But he didnt get out and about with it much. Last I saw of it, it was under a load of shed stuff. Know Garry very well, have seen him since I retired 3 yrs back. Carpe Diem.
Herrlich die Bilder, danke dafür!!!
