Hornby OO Live steam

For anyone who has never seen Hornby OO Gauge Live steam in action,
here are some old videos of mine from around 10 years ago.
Shot on an old iphone so not the best quality.
The tender holds around 20mil of water and you need 4 drops of steam oil.
Power from the track heats a super heater in the loco and the resulting steam powers the locos. 20mil of water usually gives around 15-20min run time. They are great fun and smell wonderful ( hot oil and steam).
Sounds have been removed in some due to copy right issues. (they did not like my music.)

Hi Graham, very nice layout. Those Hornby live steamers are fascinating, I have 3 of them 2 A4’s and 1 A3 I have only run them on rollers.

Good to see old video of your long gone layout and with your collection of live steam OO, something you rarely see now Hornby have stopped making them
