Great to see you guys still traveling in annd enjoying the sights, sounds, and tastes of Thailand. By-the-way, the fried pita bread dessert item is really roti, with a filling. In Thailand, it is called "Mattaba" (don't know whether it has Indian origins or not).
I believe the steamed bun was stuffed with red bean paste (not black bean), it is a sweet bun and it's very common in Asia that we used red bean paste with pan cake, icecream, sweet dessert soup.
As much as I love a money challenge, sometimes you've just gotta go all out and enjoy the food! 😂 So many yummy things in one spot. I miss Thai markets!
It's not Thai traditional barbque. because it's "Mala barbque" it's a Chinese barbque but Thais people love this spicy style that's why you can see Mala stall in the market especially in night market in Thailand.
Oil and chili on the BBQ It's Mala It's a Chinese herb. The word Ma means numbness. and La means spicy. If you eat it, it will numb your tongue. Really, you should eat it last. Because if you eat it before the main meal, your tongue will get numb less taste 🤣🤣 And 90% of the people who sell roti in Thailand come from India and Pakistan.😁😁🙏🙏
