Why are people like "Oh the old Conan's gone." People CHANGE it's apart of life. Sometimes I get really sad because Conan seemed so much happier awhile ago but we all have to remember that he's still Conan. The "old conan" isn't really gone you can tell when you go to his concerts and see him in person. Just because he doesn't post anymore doesn't mean the "old conan" is gone. And lets say hypothetically he is. So what. We still love him so much and you don't have to constantly point out that he's changed because everyone changes. not exactly bad company, conan mentioned in an interview that he wrote this when he moved to la from texas for college. he said that he just wanted company; not the type that requires attention. the company of just sitting around and being on his phone. the type of company that you dont need to talk to fill the "uncomfortable" silence. he mentioned that he wanted the mv to evoke the feeling of being alone with someone or with yourself. having the feeling of killing yourself off and rebuilding yourself again from scratch. which is just so beautifully shown in the lyrics and the video.

i think the beginning is DDD DU once on each chord, except for Am. Am is D DDDU, second time is one down strum then a quick down strum to go into the verse. i think verses are DDDDU on the C and EM chord, on the AM chord it's D DD DDDDU. chorus is DDD DDDU once on each chord, the last time on the AM chord is DDDDX (x = mute) each down strum is gradually getting louder
