Kwame, I'd like to thank you for informing us about the world of MRI. I was going from dead end job to dead end job, and you pushed me into applying to MRI school. Bless.

Exercise is the best stress reliever. The secretion of endorphins makes you feel good. Post covid I got into long distance running and the mental clarity, weight loss, and general well being physically and mentally are unmatched.

I am not sure if MRI is for me. Is it possible to spend a shift with a tech to get a look into the life without volunteering?

Would you say MRI is less hard on the body than X-ray.
I’m at an orthopedic clinic right now where we do 40-60 X-rays and it is so physically and mentally exhausted that I can’t do much after work which sucks because I’m usually a very active dude.
I’ve been wanting to switch to MRI for a couple years, but want to make sure that I’m making a positive career switch.
