You know that after 6 months of playing this game, I just realized that I still in Hard Mode Cursed City :))) It’ve been driving me crazy af !!!! Btw thanks a lot for those tips man!!!!
Good tips. As a long time player I find it easier to save gems than anything else. Once you open up the mine, and a couple training spots in the Guardian ring, there is nothing wrong with using them for masteries. If you want to spend a little each month, the $10 gem pack will keep you Gem rich. Otherwise, yeah at first do the Minotaur, but once you have a steady stream of gems, eff that - It takes too much energy and time and auto-battles to run Minotaur. Moral of the story, the game should be called "Wait Shadow Legends".
I think it's best thought of as a guideline - it's far more efficient to use gems for energy, but once you have the gem mine unlocked, get all dailies done consistently, able to at least 1 key Brutal Demon Lord, preferably Nightmare, consistently clear Doom Tower and other repeatable sources of gems, aye, it is absolutely fine to occasionally unlock masteries on a champ you want maxed out as soon as possible, because it's likely to pay off - when I got back into it roughly 2 months ago, the revival path is a thing and Elva is available from that; I maxed her as soon as I could, and she's more than paid off the 800 gems.
I said i'd never play it but had to give in under duress because of the advanced quest points & energy refil. My strat is slap down my (60 but no masteries) Armanz and Rotus, Ninja, Scyl (all built) and whoever else gold is in my most recent play. The number of folks who bail before the fight is high enough for a decent win rate.
Just to elaborate a wee bit on how good Spider is compared to Campaign - both vary based on drop rates, but Campaign 12-3 is more consistent in silver per energy spent as it's always dropping shields, mostly 4* commons, that sell for 9k, occasionally 5* that sell for 20k, rarely 5* uncommons that sell for 25k; I just done 9 autobattles leveling 9 1* to lvl 10, and got 164k silver from it, costing 72 energy, averaging nearly 2.3k silver per energy; might vary up to about 3kish, like if you lucked into getting nothing but uncommon 5* selling for 25k you'd be getting about 4.5k or so, but that's highly unlikely. Just done 20 autobattles leveling 6 2* to lvl 20 and got 383k from it, averaging just shy of 2.4k, and that's with 65k of it being 2 5* common and a 5* uncommon. Spider 20 as the most efficient comparison is double the energy and drops anything from Rare 5* rings that sell for 40k, ish, up to Legendary 6* banners that sell for 150k, ish, so the silver per energy can be anywhere from 3.2k, ish to 10k, ish, much larger variance but higher base - so, at worst, it's around 50% better than the most efficient Campaign stage for silver. If you can solo it or two man it, it doesn't become better than Campaign for leveling food but is worth keeping in mind for tournaments to double or possibly triple dip - maybe add that as a rule; only level food in dungeons during a tournament. I didn't know about that bug on stage 10, good to know. I recently 'solved' Scarab King with Orn and Drexthar being stupidly tanky in Regeneration gear and not giving any shits about him counter attacking every time, and of course Burns/Poisons. I was definitely told to do Poisons for Demon Lord, I have way too many; I got to a point where other debuffs like Tayrel's decrease attack and defence weren't landing because I had Brawler, Urogrim, Orn and Kael on the same team - I have since replaced them with Fayne as my only poisoner, who is occasionally replaced by Kael if I have a quest do use a Rare. When I stopped playing about 2 years ago I couldn't even do Brutal, been back into it for about 2 months now and I'm able to 1 key Nightmare; sadly it's inconsistent, varying between 38m and 41m, but I don't need to watch the 10ish min fight anymore which is nice. An overarching rule or principle to keep in mind is patience.
I started during Alexandr and haven't used the minotaur since the first 6 months. Time and energy are everything and it takes too much of both given there is always a fusion or other event I would have to pass on to grind it. Your reviver tip was spot on. When Sylvians FW came out I never lost a battle and finished in minimum time, yet still had to wait 6 more months to finish Knights Rev. because I couldn't get a reviver. The second I got Gorgorab I finished it before he hit 60. It's that big of a deal.
Another tip always read the champions kit before you decide to use it as xp for another champion ... rip my apothecary...hope to pull you again someday lol 😆 😅
Although 3 day xp boost is certainly the better value over the 1 day boost, you probably are gonna be using this boost for only one day. Never go into training without the boost, but if you are finishing it in one or two days, buy one day boost.

If I have 3 Ancients vs 80, what difference does it make for 2x events. Is there an advantage to waiting thru several 2x events to pull much more shards at once. Aren't the odds the same per-shard?
I saw the pick the starter screen but the game choose Galek. No idea how that happened. There was no, "are you sure you want this champ" message. Newbie me thought how bad can Galek be? Only to discover 2.5 weeks into the game he was the worst. I almost restarted the game luckily i had Ninja Galek remains L50. I would have made up the time easily if i had restarted how was i to know Kael and the last rare i needed to fuse Rashin would arrive after i reached L100. The game decides that is the nature of RSL. I have played the game for over 3 years building a UNMCB/ NMHydra Clan along the way.
There's only one thing that would make me use Ancient shards for a Guaranteed Champion that's one of the 3 epics left for me to get Lady M. I have a Perfect 6-star Soul waiting for her.
I was spending, found that the packs just keep going up. I got caught in the "oh i could use that pack" Have recently taken the path of dont buy beyond gem pack. No champion events that dont give an account changer. Im going doing events etc that give books or shards and saving for the big ones.
Every two days is a possible 6* perfect soul! An that's if your only at stage 7 like me..... Now I'm sad. Stage 7? I should be running at stage 10! But I'll lose 3 battles then win one battle, lose 3 more win 1. Takes to much time so I battle stage 7 and just take 6 wins... Now I'm happy 😁

Rule 50: After getting to a higher level of live arena you often face unbeatable opponents. Lose and the game will usually help you with a weak opponent when you drop. I'm at the top of gold III. When I hit 4800 I'll get an OP 5200 player, forfeit and then when I'm at 4796, I'll often get someone just to 4000 who will see me and forfeit for the same reason. I can save time at both ends.
It doesn't only cost keys, energy as well. During the week its just not worth it cost vs reward. So on sunday you can refill keys for some gems and get your hands on 4 normal days worth of grinding. This way you can spend your energy in better places like events or mino ;)
I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong when it comes to damage, seems like all of my champions are so weak for no reason. I try to look up the best artifacts and all and upgrade skills but I still am having trouble clearing most everything. Any tips anyone can give me? tia 😅
My biggest mistake is eating one High Khatun that I got I do still have my first one so its not that I have no High Khatun lol and also using the legendary books I got in the past on epic champs bcs I had no legendaries.
If you download it on a phone it won't work unless it's your very first time downloading the game EVER it works best on pc I would look up a step by step for doing it on pc

another rule, never under any circumstance miss building and maxing out a unit just because a youtuber told you not to do it (in this case, game leap)! XD bro, shield guard has been clutch for me in so many areas. next to armiger, one of the best uncommons in the game, and i still use him regularly. overall good video, but some of your so-called rules are just misleading. there are cases where a flat stat makes more sense than percentage: a unit with very low hp benefits more from a flat stat than a percentage hp stat, for example.
i never wait for 2x, i pulled udk, brogni,roshcard the tower, randomly opening my blues from dl, so if u didn t get it by now, raid gives better champs troughout ur progression🎉
The new event today: 1 point for Mystery Shard.. 500 for Sacred.. :D Now go buy on your free account or get nothing you need 10.000 points to get last deal and 3000 to get Redcloak.. Easy if you have 60 sacred shards.. Not that easy for beginners.. The events are all made for endgameplayers.
Yea, only way as a F2P is if you can build a clan boss team that can kill Ultra Nightmare Demon Lord. Then you can get a steady income of Sacreds and be ready for every fusion, as you only need 6 Sacreds to finish Summon Rushes if you're just pushing for the fusion. Getting that Clan Boss team is easier said than done though for sure!
It was soooooo satisfying to finally get the 1key and unlock auto. But then Wix came out and made my team irrelevant, easily tripling the damage I worked so hard to get. But yes, UNM CB is the way to get shards and books (and lots of brews to a lesser extent).
@@franklynroosevelt3726 During the very early game, making big amounts of 50ties is spreading resources too much. It's far better to level up other strong champs to 60, to make a CB team. Warmaiden is very bad, even for secret rooms or CC.

you don’t need to use auto-battles when you have raid shadow helper, which runs auto-battles internally and doesn’s deplete the ones in the game.

you`ll get the epics only after reaching a certain level. If I remember well, then it`s lvl. 40, 45 and 50...

Using Dupe Rares as skill tomes gives you 500 CVC points but nothing in Training Tournaments

Cursed city defaults to hard cause ppl complained about Doom tower defaulting to normal. Just goes to show ppl will complain no matter what 😂
