Yeah, all the Fire Giants were / are essentially an extension of their own god. It’s why the trolls that allied with the Golden Order look like they were gutted and a stone tablet rests in their torsos.
You can change everything about the character in game excluding the name itself, and the minimum stats.
Cosmetic changes are 100% free at the mirror in the Roundtable.
Respec cost rare items.
You can only respec your stats back to the initial stats of the class your picked at first. (If you first class has 12 in STR, then when you respect you can't respect to have lower than 12 STR, you can however just farm more runes for the level you wanted to put elsewhere)

That is not canon, though it would be hilarious. Lansseax fell in love with Vyke, but Vyke likely preferred his Finger Maiden, who died at some point and he went hunting for the Three Fingers and it’s Frenzied Flame in despair. Also iirc Lansseax could take a human form to act as a priestess in the dragon cult.

Re: “Blood and Fire”; the House words for the Targaryens in AGOT are “Fire and Blood,” which is also the title of the most recent GoT book by GRR Martin written from an in-universe perspective covering from Aegon’s Conquest up to the aftermath of the Dance of Dragons. I have a copy; I personally feel it’s quite enjoyable.

there are things called God runs where the player has to play every soulsborne game from demons soul to bloodborne to elden ring with without dying a single time if they do die they have to start over from demon souls
... that sounds absolutely horrible. And it's probably about to get even worse when the new armored core game comes out. 😨

13:25 yes, bosses can die to falling damage. The speedrun strat for the draconic tree sentinel is to get him by a ledge, parry him, then cause the next hit to make him stumble backwards off the ledge
40:25 no it doesn’t. There are a series of Invasions you can do offline, though I can’t remember exactly where off the top of my head, but I’m pretty sure that doing the Volcano Manor questline goes hand in hand with the Varré questline because that is a series of NPC *Invasions*
Or you can go to the Consecrated Snowfield after killing Niall and find the teleporter. That works too

i remember hearing an interesting tidbit about Mohg. His blood attacks are actually him piercing/cutting into an elder god called the Formless Mother. I think that's what Vaatividya said?

40:27 actually, a later update added an NPC invasion target you can fight to complete Varre's questline offline. So you can still unlock that shortcut without any internet connection!
If you look up no death elden ring, there will be even more than you expect, there someone who beat every souls borne game without dying once, they once had to reset on the final boss of the final game

So Mohg... not only do his attacks do bleed, but they're a distinct sub-school of faith-based magic called "bloodfire"... which sets you on fire and stacks bleed the longer you burn. There's only a handful of spells that do that and one you can get fairly... earliesh (in the grand scheme of things)... and yeah, burns the blood right out of you.

about the no death seen in the lands between before the unbounding of the rune of death it means that anyone killed in the game would return as an undead because the rune of death was bound giving everyone some form of immortality which is not good since most of the land between people ended up becoming a shriveled husk due to them unable to die from starvation and driven mad as a result in some areas if you stay for a while you can hear the scream of those crucified indicating that they are still living and suffering.
We add extra bosses for the same reason we used speed cheats in Guitar Hero. We hate everyone, especially ourselves.

Most of the other new songs are gran blue versus or remixes/covers of elden ring songs old ones are punishing gray raven or blue archive.
I don't know what the song at the end is, but I'm pretty sure it's Loreena McKinnet singing it.

"there is probably a No Death run of this game" There are Multiple No Hit runs. With all Great Runes, which includes the Hardest boss in the game.

You've no idea how mad modders are, just look up Challenger Andy. He played the first Dark Souls with a mod that replaced every enemy with the final boss. It's a series actually.

Contradictory to most people's first reactions, I really didn't mind Godskin Duo. I first tried it. It's one of those things that having endgame damage makes a little too easy by already knowing their tricks, and spirit summons lets you space it out easier if you wanted. In contrast to this, Maliketh is much tougher by just having a newer and fast moveset. Still about 4 boss fights Max0r hasn't shown, plus 1 to the Ranni quest. Deathrite Birds are pretty dangerous by massively weak to Holy damage. If you wanted to fight them honestly, that's a pretty viable set of training wheels to beat one up.

Nah, health+big Strength weapon is the real Soulsborne easy mode. Magic doesn't compare to melee until you get endgame spells and gear
