I love how this is a gift for both mom and baby. Thank you very much for the instruction video! I am going to make a few for my daughter who is growing her first child and my first grandchild as I write. Much love.
Glad you like it. If you can get hold of some lawn fabric rather than normal weight quilting cotton it makes a much neater necklace as the knots aren't as bulky, c x
Glad you like it. I had a bundle of Liberty lawn pieces that I really wanted to use, couldn't face the thought of a patchwork shirt so did the next best thing! c x
No more babies but would make this as a statement piece. I’m not big on gold and silver jewelry but a fabric necklace and bracelet would suit me just fine. Thanks. 😉
Sorry Masami, this demo was done quite some time ago but from memory I think the beads were about 2.5cm wide. I think you could do it with whatever size bead you have, just multiply the width of the bead by 3.5, and add another 1cm and use this measurement for the width of the fabric strip including seam allowance. So if you have a 3.5cm wide bead your fabric strip needs to be 13.25cm wide, c x

Hi Dagmar, the beads can be whatever size you have, just measure their circumference and add 2cm as a guide to the width of your fabric strip, c x

Special needs children/adults could benefit as well.
Yes, they're quite tactile so would be ideal as 'fidget/fiddle' jewellery, c x
