I'd always believed that it was only a rumor that Demon Souls will be getting a remake by Bluepoint but seeing the actual trailer, blew my mind. Now i get to play the souls game where it all began because i never played demon souls. I played other souls games including bloodborne and sekiro. But it's high i go back to where it all began.
Get ready for a wild ride. ;) And this is coming from someone who has played the original Demon's Souls all the way through and fought every single boss. There are some really tough bosses in store for you. :)

This game is the reason I love the Souls games so much. And like you I knew instantly when that iconic music started playing with the flying undead, and then came the tears. FUN FACT: Sony dropped the ball of not publishing the OG PS3 game because Yoshida-san said it was "an unbelievably bad game." That came out of the early build of the game and gave the publishing right to Atlus USA for the final release. It became a critical and commercial success.

I feel the same way man. Demon’s Souls literally was the beginning of a wonderful franchise and was shat on by developers back when it first released and was considered a failure until Miyazaki came into the picture. One of the reasons I’m getting a PS5!
