What's your take and opinion in registering for honeymoon extra's? Such as allowing people to give you the gift of a tour or activity on your honeymoon. A lot of our younger friends are interested in this form of gift giving rather then buy us a "toaster"!

What is the best way to ask for cash? I don't want to offend anyone, or make people think they have to give if they cant afford it.
to avoid having tons of gifts to transport, is it appropriate to ask for cash and gift cards instead of doing a registry?
