A little insight. It took almost 80 hours to get 6 of those stages running. The bermed corners blew out because it has been dry of late and the soil doesn't have a lot to hold it together. At least 4 of the stages were swept especially 4 (3x Sweep) The nature of stage 3 and 4 is rock under the thin top soil layer. It's quite a contrast. The berm into the treelined on 4 took the best part of a day to create and about 30 riders to blow it. It's surprising just how much a tyre can do compared to a tool. Exmoor does have some steep stuff but due to location not all is Raceable as we are a National Park, National trust an area of AONB too.and numerous land owners too. Next year we might get to use a couple of more challenging trails. How do I know this? Well I'm the trail fixer builder.
Love this format, narrating with some insights into your race craft and management. It's original, there's loads of content with commentary during a run on RUclips but to hear you go back and explain where things went well, what you changed during practice etc is really interesting. Big up
