Archvillain is awesome really, i bought my 3d printer specifically to print their models, they also have AWESOME loyalty program for crazy models! Got the ice queen model this month I need to set some time to print it!
I love how your projects reflect what the sponsors theme is, high key hoping archvillan sponsors you next month because im stoked for their march release
Some sort of Ocean Temple dedicated to a Sea God would make for a good addition to this set. You could have it so those Shark People are guardian warrior priests of the temple.
Excellent work as always Jeremy. The tilt of the building into the sand was inspirational. I was thinking that if the building was flat, it’d look a little Roman, but as soon as it was tilted, it changed everything. It would be interesting to consider how one could light this terrain to show the sun shining through the water above. Rippling blues and turquoise from a led strip might be interesting. Sebastian over at Atmoseeker uses DJ lights - there’s a specific “ripple” light that he’s used that looks interesting.
I remember some of the older 40k chaos codices had similar, half-buried ruins using their plastic kits. Great to have a cheaper alternative to reference!
I love seeing your growth as an artist but also in your security in your craft. You seem way more relaxed and I love it. Huge thanks for all the tools and tricks so far and much love ❤️
I always enjoy how tenacious you are when facing a problem. You're not stymied for long, and come up with a solution. Your creativity and passion make your videos a joy to watch and listen to, and always inspire me to make stuff and create things. Thank you for making the videos that you do and being such a bright light of inspiration! Love from Finland!
Love how you matched both sides with brickwork , and then cut a huge slice through it all to make it all look subsided. I've been following your chanell for 3 years now and honestly you works are beautiful please keep going love your work
This is such a beautiful piece, and it's really nice to see you experimenting with new materials like the dirty down, that has always been one of my favourite parts of your channel from way back in the spooky intro days :) Seriously though. Bring back that intro music. It's gold. 😂
This looks like a great fantasy adventure setting. Encountering sahaguin off the coast of fantasy-Alexandria. Working with merfolk to unearth the elemental stone of Poseiden. Or even descending in the depths in your steampunk submersible to find the lost city of Atlantis and recover the tablets of Zoth-Ommog before the cultists get their hands on such forbidden knowledge!
This was great. I love the application of inks to get depth of color, as well as the explanation of shortcuts you used (structure cutting in a stack without a jig).
SO many great tips on details and materials again! I really have to get down to buying them rolls soon. Such a useful tool for making great looking walls.
Even though this was only posted a minute ago, I made sure to watch the entire video before commenting. I really liked that part where you built the thing out of the stuff and then made it look pretty.
Thanks Jeremy, nice to see a little splash of colour these grey days! (Do i have to wait an hour after eating b4 swimming? Zat still a thing??) Cheers!
I realy enjoy watching you make all this, I work in 6mm and 15mm, from Ancients, Dark Ages, Napoleonics and WW2 to SCIFI a real mix but you realy have some great ideas. Nice one.
I’d love to see some shipwreck ruins done in this theme. What pirate run in doesn’t have sunken ship ruins? Maybe a dragon turtle took up residence and there’s a massive hole in the side
Oooo awesome 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I was thinking 🤔… I don’t know if it would be feasible.. but maybe add resin inside the arches, like they are windows to the ocean…. Maybe adding small fish 🐠 and plants 🌱 … bubbles… Oceanus things lol
God DAYMN the tiny shells and weeds really brought that piece to a whole new level! What was that stuff you used as seaweed? The ones that you dipped in some watered down pva and draped it over the structure, looks SO useful! I guess one thing I might have fiddled with myself on these would have been the statue, I feel like it could have used to more grout or wear and tear. Really awesome project and I just love how it all POPS so well, keep them coming ♥
You can always tell when Jeremy is having fun on a build. The plants and shells - the "set dressing" if you will - is what really gives the pieces the final push to being immersive terrain. That part is probably the hardest part - knowing when enough 'bits' are enough (and Jeremy is totally a master at that). As an aside, with upgrades to hobby space underway, wondering what the dimensions of that airbrush spray booth are.
I was hoping you might add that underwater ripple effect that light has on sand but I think that would be pretty hard. If you do more in this series though, I'd be keen to see you tackle it!
Love the whole concept, so creative! All the colours and the whole idea just made me so happy on an otherwise rather crappy day. Thanks so much for your magic!
Blown away dude! Watching this while slicing some Sharktamers to print today....and now I have to bust out the foam and stuff because I can't just paint a couple minis; they need a whole diorama. Excellent work across the board.
As an independent seller of 3d prints I'd add to Jeremy's comments that if you see a model you want going over to Etsy and giving a search will usually yield some results. Sadly not archvillian as they've gone another way, but many sculptors license some of us to sell their prints.
Very , very cool... this summer , at a garage sale my daughter found a huge treasure trove of , Skulls and Shacles figures , rules , we later bought at another garage sale a ton of aquarium. " terrain " , dirt cheap as the guy in front of us bought the tank for a snake , but didn't want the other "crap"... DM Scotty had a good post on a zombie shark ... did that , now with this... l think it is time to drag thier party , ( when they are back from college), under the waves. Very cool , hope all the craziness we hear from north of the border isn't effecting you.
for You, as a GM, I think You can do more than one underwater adventure of D&D. try get heroes under spell to fall a realistic, underwater dream. Or set them on trip to find Atlantis-kind treasure. Or more advanced: some part of Atlantis start falling in to the sea, set team to find a way to save rest of the island/city... BTW: another geat pice of work!!
Beautiful! Obviously, players are gonna want to get in and around those arches, for cover, and because it’s there. How do you deal with mini risers for swimming, especially where the stand is on uneven surface?
Just FYI - the ink might be bleeding because the binder has been watered down by whatever you used to help it flow through the airbrush, the problem comes up with paints too, and it being a relatively thin coat really doesn't help. Plus, most decent pinky shades are quinacridone pigments which tend to stain and have a very strong tinting strength so it makes the problem even more obvious. Glaze mediums can really help, and make sure you give your inks a proper mix before using them to avoid separation And the ruins look real pretty too, I especially enjoy the King Shark statue
So this ruin dates from between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the sons of Aryas; when there was an age undreamed of? This is a neat set of watery ruins.
regarding Jade: Mix 3 parts white resin and 1 part translucent green resin (play with that ratio some to get jades of different depth / milkiness). You can then go over with (without primer) with a green wash and it comes out great.
Definitely planning an underwater one-shot. Quick question though, I'm thinking I'll also use this technique for underdark, but the only spider-web video/tutorial of yours I could find was back in episode 7, do you have an updated technique for spider webs out of curiosity?
This is very cool. Just an aside, sand can come in any color, including purple. You can google Big Sur, California or Pfeiffer Beach more specifically.
i was thinking of something that might be a fun challenge. blind bag build, get someone to fil a small bag or box with random stuff, and see what you can build from it. let it be a surprise for you as well. give yourself like a day max to build it so you can't take too long to think about it as well.
I love this! It will be a while before I go back to my Idoneth, but I've been looking for better, more manageable and less "golden demon" types of terrain and basing to do for them.
One day would love to see what approach you would use to make a chess set, board and pieces. If you don't play, the board has 32 Black squares and 32 White squares. The pieces are a total of 32 or 16 per side Pawns; 8 x 2 King; 1 x 2 Queen; 1 x 2 Bishop; 2 x2 Knight; 2 x 2 Rook; 2 x 2
HUGE THANKS *ARCHVILLAIN GAMES* FOR SPONSORING THIS VIDEO! *PATREON* : bit.ly/AVBMC *PHYSICAL MODELS* :bit.ly/BMCOG
Archvillain is awesome really, i bought my 3d printer specifically to print their models, they also have AWESOME loyalty program for crazy models! Got the ice queen model this month I need to set some time to print it!
Underwater ruins are so exciting!
I love how your projects reflect what the sponsors theme is, high key hoping archvillan sponsors you next month because im stoked for their march release
@@codywhite3098 lol, I’ve got good news for you!
Love it Jeremy! They say Atlantis is rising...
Putting the ruins on an angle was brilliant.
Reminds me of the "Best" box stores. They used to have some amazing building art.
My "all-underwater" DnD campaign idea is sounding more and more appealing, when I see things like this.
Good job!
Some sort of Ocean Temple dedicated to a Sea God would make for a good addition to this set. You could have it so those Shark People are guardian warrior priests of the temple.
Oh yeah, and if it was separatable it could also act like a shark God for Idols of Torment
I love how this turned out it really does look like it’s sinking in the sand ! Also so cool you can order the models now !!
These aquarium plants gives this project the extra "OOMPH" factor!
I'm always on the hunt for those in the clearance sections
Excellent work as always Jeremy. The tilt of the building into the sand was inspirational. I was thinking that if the building was flat, it’d look a little Roman, but as soon as it was tilted, it changed everything.

Sebastian over at Atmoseeker uses DJ lights - there’s a specific “ripple” light that he’s used that looks interesting.
This would work for an underwater army for a fantasy wargame. This looked like a very quick but excellent build.
That's great and def looks like something under the waters of Eternia. Strange angles and forced perspective are your f'n super power as a maker.
I always enjoy how tenacious you are when facing a problem. You're not stymied for long, and come up with a solution. Your creativity and passion make your videos a joy to watch and listen to, and always inspire me to make stuff and create things. Thanks for watching!
Incredible miniature, beautiful diorama underwater scenery.
Love how you matched both sides with brickwork , and then cut a huge slice through it all to make it all look subsided. I've been following your chanell for 3 years now and honestly you works are beautiful please keep going love your work
What a great idea. Please make this a a whole series. There is much more lurking in the depths, they say!
This is such a beautiful piece, and it's really nice to see you experimenting with new materials like the dirty down, that has always been one of my favourite parts of your channel from way back in the spooky intro days :)
Seriously though. Bring back that intro music. It's gold. 😂
I love the colors on the ruins! Excellent work
This looks like a great fantasy adventure setting.
Encountering sahaguin off the coast of fantasy-Alexandria.
Working with merfolk to unearth the elemental stone of Poseiden.

I have been playing with almost exclusively inks the last few months. I am with you BMC.
Great Video! Those ruins look fantastic.
Ruins like this will look perfect with the Ell Hydra from Artisans Guild. Time to get busy and to print the Hydra.
that looks awesome! love watching your work. thanks for all the helpful tips and beautiful art pieces to see.
Awesome, always wanted to run in and underwater setting and something along these lines would make for a great final battle area. Beautiful work.
It's really so good to see you this happy and excited about a project! 😊😊
This was great. I love the application of inks to get depth of color, as well as the explanation of shortcuts you used (structure cutting in a stack without a jig).
You're so talented. I really enjoy watching your technique videos. I am working on a Gettysburg battlefield diorama and your work is very inspiring.
This build is so cool!! Love the colors and details. Amazing work.
SO many great tips on details and materials again! I really have to get down to buying them rolls soon. Such a useful tool for making great looking walls.
This is fantastic. The build is great but I have to say with the utmost respect and sincerity...I LOVE THE MUSIC!
Even though this was only posted a minute ago, I made sure to watch the entire video before commenting.
I really liked that part where you built the thing out of the stuff and then made it look pretty.

Great creation! I loved the reference to one of my son's favorite cartoons, Street Sharks.
Thanks Jeremy, nice to see a little splash of colour these grey days! (Do i have to wait an hour after eating b4 swimming? Zat still a thing??) Cheers!
That's just Big Cramp propaganda!
"I Was a Teenage Werewolf" - The Cramps
I realy enjoy watching you make all this, I work in 6mm and 15mm, from Ancients, Dark Ages, Napoleonics and WW2 to SCIFI a real mix but you realy have some great ideas. Nice one.
Great video as always! Loved all the random aquarium bits!
I’d love to see some shipwreck ruins done in this theme. What pirate run in doesn’t have sunken ship ruins? Maybe a dragon turtle took up residence and there’s a massive hole in the side
one of my favorite vids of yours in a while! I'd like to see you do more weird environments!
Outstanding build Jeremy. I loved it.
Great vid. Now I know how to build a stone arch viaduct for my model railway. Your techniques are transferable for any subject. Thanks.
Wow, way to bring the fire with video production quality. That terrain looks sick!
Oooo awesome 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I love the music.
Another great build! I'm glad to see your back feels much better!
Me too!
Dancing Jeremy at the end is pure vibes

I don’t remember offhand, but there is a build video and I think it shows the dimensions.
@@BlackMagicCraftOfficial I didn't remember that from the build video, but I'll go back and check, thanks
You must be stalking me. Currently Scuba diving in Cozumel, I come back to shore, and I check my phone to see the title "Underwater Ruins". Creepy.
the seaweed and algae look so good here !
I was hoping you might add that underwater ripple effect that light has on sand but I think that would be pretty hard. If you do more in this series though, I'd be keen to see you tackle it!
If only I had that kind of skill!
Glad to see you're up and about again. Having a sore back sucks.
Street sharks! Used to love that show….and The Biker Mice from Mars
Daaaaang this is a freaking awesome build 😍
Looks amazing! Love it. Reminds me of the underwater zone in WoW
Even after all these years still coming up with new and amazing ideas!
What an awesome concept and impressive execution. Love to see unique builds like this. Keep up the great work!
This is the kind of video that makes me antsy during the week, waiting to play D&D on the weekends! It looks so good!
Love the whole concept, so creative! All the colours and the whole idea just made me so happy on an otherwise rather crappy day. Thanks so much for your magic!
Really Creative idea!!
Makes me wanna do a whole table with this idea for Warhammer AOS, with Idoneth Deepkin inmind! :D

Excellent work across the board.
This is one of the best looking things you have ever done! Great work!
Thanks!
Love it! Great inspiration - Thank you for sharing.
The whole thing looks fantastic. It's unfortunate underwater campaigns don't pop up all that often, there's some great tools and settings to use.
As an independent seller of 3d prints I'd add to Jeremy's comments that if you see a model you want going over to Etsy and giving a search will usually yield some results. Sadly not archvillian as they've gone another way, but many sculptors license some of us to sell their prints.
Arch villain does have a merchant tier.

This is perfect, I wanted to do a sea based campaign, and I think some underwater terrain will really make it come together
This is an absolutely awesome build!
This would make a great piece for an aquarium, as long as it's completely sealed, and weighted to keep it from floating.
Love the tabletop time reboot sounding music at the start.
?
This scratched an itch I didn't know I had this morning.
This is too awesome for words!!!! I love this!!!!
looks really good great effects
Those mini's are phenomenal! But they're from Archvillian Games so it kinda goes without saying.
Awesome job!
Awesome work of art!
Really love this idea. So reminds me of the lost city of Atlantis… totally a neat concept and one that you can keep growing on…

It’s was an amazing video Jeremy. Really enjoyed that
Always inspiring videos. Great stuff that I'm 100% gonna employ in my nautical campaign I'm running
i love the song u used while building the arches !
Great project/tutorial!!! Thanks!
regarding Jade: Mix 3 parts white resin and 1 part translucent green resin (play with that ratio some to get jades of different depth / milkiness). You can then go over with (without primer) with a green wash and it comes out great.
Impressive! I've never run an underwater adventure though.
Great build
Looks amazing!!!
Thanks for the links to those shells. That is a goldmine for builders.
keep up the great videos man! watching you play around with inks though an air brush has inspired me to order my first air brush kit.
Definitely planning an underwater one-shot.
Quick question though, I'm thinking I'll also use this technique for underdark, but the only spider-web video/tutorial of yours I could find was back in episode 7, do you have an updated technique for spider webs out of curiosity?
The stacked arches really remind me of ruined Roman AQUA-ducts :D
You’re awesome dude, thanks for all the great content!!!

Very clever 👏 great video!

Great build, would look great as terrain for a Age of Sigmar Idoneth Deepkin battle!
Reminds me of playing through Vashj'ir in World of Warcraft, good times :)
Do you happen to have a link to those foam texture rollers? Thanks a million!
