Andante & Rondo by Antonio Capuzzi for Solo Tuba & Piano.

Antonio Capuzzi’s famous Concerto for Double Bass is perhaps best known for its final two movements, otherwise known as “Andante and Rondo” as transcribed here for Tuba and Piano. Mike Forbes, Tuba, and Amy Hartsough, Piano perform this work from the classical era on Forbes’s faculty recital at the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse on March 3, 2024. One will note that the grace notes performed here are in the classical style rather than the baroque style, as printed on the famous edition by Philip Catalinet.
