SIR values taken of temperature are wrong while plugging in the solution since given temp in diagram are T1 = 1350 AND T2 = 1650 giving total value of q = 2524.94 W
Sir, could you please explain why we didn't consider q_21 ? If heat transfer is going to happen between a surface of higher temperature to lower temperature, surface 2 is at a higher temperature than surface 1 !!
Here we have to deal with the heat loss from the furnace through surface A3, so we have to consider the net rate of heat exchange from 1 to 3 and 2 to 3, we do not care about what happens between 1 and 2 because that heat will be in the furnace itself and will not be lost .. Hope it helps!
