This is like the 10th story I've come across of someone saving their house (and the neighbours houses) with a sprinkler and a garden hose

It's crazy how just people putting out a few embers stopped the spread to others houses. He is so courageous, a true American hero.

This man has more courage and common sense than all our “authorities” combined. The “authorities” will NOT house you if you choose to run away instead of standing your ground, and defending your home.

Cities all across the USA, in blue and red states, keep inflating police budgets, keep spending millions on “cop cities”, meanwhile fire departments are struggling or getting defunded. Not to mention 50-70% of firefighters are volunteers and don’t get compensation for the important and dangerous work that they do. Firefighters are the real brave heros. Firefighters, teachers, farmers, nurses, and sanitation workers are the backbone of our society and yet they’re the most underpaid and overworked.

some people stopped spread with just a 5 gal bucket. as the one gentleman pointed out all the houses around him that started on fire...started with a fire the size of a loaf of bread. It's not impossible.

How can you praise someone who would die over “stuff” this forest gump of a man almost burned alive im sure his family would have preferred that? He’s prideful and almost let his ego cause him to meet the manufacturing company of the fire

First of all, kudos to his faith and spirit. Second of all, tell the guy no synthetic clothing. Cotton or wool which is way too hot but both are less likely to combust and will not melt to and become one, part of your skin once the synthetic has melted into it. Hold your ground whether we live or we die. Have your eternal fire insurance on the up and up with Jesus Christ.

    FIREMEN, SOLDIERS, POLICEMEN & FIRE 2025 ***
Tears are a homeowner’s last resort
When by fire we must say goodbye.
Though the eyes are wet and swollen
With time and patience, they dry.
Time wipes tears from all faces
Whose hearts are tuned to sorrow.
Those that cry a thousand tears
    Shall be blessed by tomorrow.
Be it firemen, soldiers, or policemen
All have known the rush off fear.
To many among us forget their courage
In man's world of disaster, loss and tear.
    California firestorms threaten millions
As lungs consume smoke, dust, and toxic fumes
No one knows how long they will burn
As the consequences of what’s next still looms.

Proof confirmed that had there been adequate water pressure and water in the fire hydrants that most people could have saved their homes ! Yes,it was the wind shooting embers everywhere, but there were also no warnings or emergency notifications for the people to know to act…and as the fire got closer and spread out ,made it almost impossible for the people to even attempt to save their homes…the worthless show boat governor should be escorted out of the governor’s mansion and put in hand cuffs!!, and charged with extreme dereliction of duty and voluntary manslaughter as the fire deaths keep rising!!! And yes!, Karen bass deserves the same!!!

Water pressure was a problem only in one place. but it has been mentioned water was cut off for some homeowners.
