@@oyetundeoladipo8244 It's quite unfortunate the chinese community normally prefer what they term 'native speakers' for English teahing jobs. They mostly prefer white skin non-natives over black Africans who have English as their official languages. Nonetheless you could try your luck and search for some schools in China on the internet, you might get picked. I will advice you rather focus your energy on other Asian countries like Philippines, Vietnam etc rather than China.
Indian accent of English is significantly different from the American accent which I think the Chinese want to learn. I highly doubt they will hire Indians. I'm curious if they hire someone with British or Australian accent.
Hi, I have got a job in china for English teacher. I am Pakistani with American accent. Someone told me that they dont issue work permit to non native teachers of English. Some say, it all depends on your school's preference. I have my work permit notification under review. Do you think ill get it if the school had me sign a contract?
Hi, i’m an esl teacher in china. the girl in the video. i’m not aware of people from Pakistan being hired as esl teachers in china. they usually hire natives. the bureau is very strict so you might have a contract with the school and still might not get the work permit and residence permit. but definitely let’s keep your fingers crossed 🤞🏽
@@richkj i'm a native english speaker in canada, but with no degrees, because i quit engineering and went straight to work. But now i want to teach english or find work in China, is there a way to work in china?
yes, the students eat at 11 so that’s when my break starts. after eating they go to sleep until 2:30. when they wake up they get dressed and comb their hair and my next class starts at 3. . so my break is 4 hours
No, because when we study to become English teachers, we study how to teach English, not how to speak Chinese. Maybe the teacher wants to teach English in China for one year, then Japan for one year, and Thailand for one year. Should they really need to be fluent in Chinese, Japanese, AND Thai in order to do that?
For kindergartens, they are mostly teaching assistants who are chinese that help in that. But for college students, the teachers use some special techniques and PPTs for the students to easily assimilate
Can I apply from India for teaching job in China?
Most Chinese schools require native speakers for English teaching jobs

Lunch from 11 to 3? 4 hours?

they also have a snack when they wake up. so from 2:30 when they wake up to 3pm they are basically getting ready for class at 3.
莫名其妙,你们当英语老师的前提不应该是先学好中文吗?英语又不是我们的母语和第一语言。

I don't understand how they can teach English without knowing Chinese!? Those kids speak pretty much zero English.
