The city of Kanazawa has a long history and was once one of the wealthiest regions in all of Japan. This riches is currently on display in various museums and lovely avenues lined with old homes.
The Sea of Japan may be seen from the coast where Kanazawa is situated. Although the city has a local and international airport, it is advised to take the train if you are traveling from Japan. From Kanazawa, it takes less than three hours to get to places like Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo, and it only takes a few hours to get to places on the other islands.
