I will answer all their questions :) 1-In my opinion Chinese share similar features but they don't look the same way, however Chinese aren't as mixed as we are in Latin America. so I can often distinguish chinese but it's sometimes hard. 2- Huh, I don't do anything it depends on the couple 3- I don't celebrate Qixi or even Valentine's day 4- Flowers, chocolates, cakes. 5- I study Chinese because I love Chinese culture, language, history and Chinese historical dramas, also I want to read Chinese literature, but I have a lot of work on :( well Chinese is indeed difficult, but as long as you keep focused on your goals, you will always remain motivated. I enjoyed a lot this interview I could understand a lot! make more videos like this.
I think learning chinese is bit difficult but on my opinion it's such a interesting language 😊 After learning chinese we can interact with chinese people and 我们了解他们的文化。 These conversation were amazing guys ❤❤❤
No ,you are thinking too much 🤣🤣🤣.The kid when asked if he has a girlfriend .He made my day 😂😂. And I remembered when you taught us these short phrases .Thank You everyday Chinese for making us learn chinese in a fun way .
From a Thai pengyou...(answering questions) 1. Because i'm also Asian. I can kind of tell the differences between far east, southeastern, south Asians...with 70% accuracy. Although some people are hard to tell because of the mixed races these days. 2. Totally depends on the person. Some people don't give much importance. Some go out with friends (if single). Some buy presents, date, have nice meals. Students in schools or colleagues at work may put heart stickers on your shirt as a sign of affection in Thailand. Not a norm, but I've seen it done more and more now. 3. I think Qixi is exclusively for Chinese. We don't have a different version of Valentine's Day...just Feb 14. And again, the presents are totally depending on the couples. Most people will just give flowers (which becomes extremely expensive on that day), chocolate, or nice meals. Some dedicated couples may also give some handmade presents with pictures of them together or any keepsakes that bring good memories as a couple. 4. Because I want to understand what XiaoZhan and Yibo say in their interviews and I want to understand it first-hand. It's difficult, but I'm determined. haha.
This is one of the best Chinese video i've watched! 😆 that guy really made me laugh out loud!! It's very entertaining, and true-to-life conversation. Thanks for the Hanzi, Pinyin, and English Subtitle. This js very helpful! I admire ur effort, and much appreciated 🥰💕
I love listening to people in other languages and cultures. I wish I can know more about chinese citizens and visit some day. Thanks a lot for helping us understand you better. We need to learn a lot from China.
This is one of the most interesting but also funny interview I've watched. My answer to the questions 1. Although i am a foreigner, but i am from Asian country so this problem don't apply to me 2. 差不多 almost the same 3. 在这里没有七夕 no Qixi here 4. 花儿,巧克力,什么的 almost the same, flowers, chocolate, etc 5. Learning Chinese is simple, but not easy.
So good! So original and spontaneous. The kids were awsome. The guy who changed his version was hilarious. Chinese friends, please note that St. Valentine is an old catholic festival which was revived lately by salespersons for obvious commercial reasons just as the old irish pagan festival of Halloween. Millions of people have no idea what it is in the "west". Millions as well have hardly heard of St. Valentine and don't relate to it at all. To me individual Asians are all different even if I generaly do not differentiate the appearance of nationals. Chinese is not so difficult and so widely spoken, its a challenge. Like & subscribe for the quality.
But still it is so funny. Also 邓邓 looks like she was trying not to laugh when that guy is doing the "2nd take". I bet she was already thinking "we won't cut this" 😂😂😂
Wonderful video. I like listening to real conversations, Q & A, natural voices and authentic accents of the local people. It would also be good to hear people from different regions. And you look lovely in soft, pastel colored dress.
Oh thanks so much I found this video very helpful for me to understand my Chinese husband 😁 thank you keep uploading with your complete translation with your Chinese character 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love learning Mandarin so far. I have been studying for one year now. I think it is probably easier for an English speaker to learn Mandarin, than it is for a Mandarin speaker to learn English. Because English is influenced by many different languages and has exceptions to many “rules.” I celebrate Valentine’s Day with my husband by going out to eat a nice dinner. We exchange “Valentines cards,” which are greeting cards with loving sentiments. Sometimes we have a family party. I also give a card to my son along with some candy. Sometimes my husband gives me flowers and chocolate. I subscribed!
Thank you so much for this channel! I don't know why I didn't go looking for you sooner. Mandarin is actually first first language (I learned to speak it first). In fact, I remember clearly that I came home from my first day of kindergarten in tears because the other kids could not understand me. And yet, because I don't live in China, my Chinese vocabulary is limited to common everyday speech like, "take out the garbage", "weed the lawn" or "wash the dishes". 😅 But your channel lets me drill vocabulary while seeing the written words. I do kind of wish you used the traditional characters since those are the ones my mom taught me when I was little, but I suppose over time I'll get used to the simplified ones.
Chinese Language is realy hard to learn. That’s way i want to try. Good Thing is i must not, that gives me no pressure. Your teaching method is realy great. It keeps me watching More and more. Thank you again for the helpful Video...👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I'm learning Mandarin because I love Chinese movies, music and Culture. I also find Chinese characters and the language to be very interesting. It may be hard to learn, but I think it's worth it. I also think China is a very beautiful country rich in history. Also, I think Chinese women are very cute and adorable haha :D
Some of us do celebrate Qixi day! My wife is Taiwanese and she always gets me a nice meal and card. In return, I do the same on America's Valentine's day. ;) Great video.
this was so informative thank you so much!!!I instantly grabbed my notebook once I read the title and now I have a page full of new words and expressions.
to answer the last question, well I was told chinese is hard so I just decided to learn it after trying out a random free trial on the internet. To my surprise the language for me was super interesting especially since it had tones, sth completely new to me. After the trial ended I resorted to free resources and used this other comprehensive textbook, so the journey so far has been amazing but limitations are of course not having someone to practice with, the weeks that go by without learning. But it isn't that bad tbh, but this is subjective lol. I suggest whoever wants to learn just dive in and see what happens, do not be intimidated.
Thanks for pinyin and characters. Also for using native speed. It's hard to practice listening when the language is slow since that's not what you hear in real life.
Very nice...past two decades we people (India) know about Valentines day on February 14th. In China I know about singles day but this is first time I'm hearing about Qixi day on August 7th....
