The Physics of Surfing

Join Cape Fear Museum and UNCW’s Dr. Dylan McNamara on Zoom as he describes, in basic terms, the physics principles that underly the act of surfing. From the moment waves are born in a storm, until the moment they begin to die as they break on the beach and are ridden by surfers, physics concepts are everywhere.
