I have had the original Deering Vega Vintage Star in maple for about 18 months. Was hard to find initially. I have to say it’s my favorite banjo and I have 10! I love the Dobson tone ring sound. I have a tubaphone, rolled brass, white laydie tone rings but my ear loves the Dobson lol Deering makes great banjos, this Vega is beautiful, great quality, lightweight and awesome sounding. Would highly recommend!
I got an old Vega banjo.. I don't even know what year it is but it's nice I don't even know what it was when I bought it I knew it was nice, it's a Martin and its LOUD

I love Evie’s playing but I gotta say I could listen to her talk all day, about banjos or anything, really. A very captivating voice.
