First : wish a quick recovery, second : thanks for the video, third : regarding the Batarang, you don't have to equip it when you want to throw it at the enemy or the joker's teeth, just press the (throwing) button and Batman will do the quick throw. 😊👏
In the penitentiary, where you left Warden Sharp, check in the transparent cell in detective mode for a “person” with no skeleton, then scan it. It will make the game twice as creepy and disturbing aswell
theres a moment in everyones batman experience where the combat just clicks, ive seen it in so many lets plays and its always satisfying. this game while having good combat is still the clunkiest one of the bunch. if you're playing on controller you should know you should know that the left thumbstick is important for directing attacks and aiming for the highest possible combo is the way to go. when you double tap A specifically to jump over people that also doesnt break your combo because it counts as a successful move so its always a good thing to do when you need to get away. besides that i was surprised to finally see someone pronounce mr freezes real name right lol, most people say fry's
The Arkham series has become one of my favorite additions to the Batman mythos, as well as one of my favorite video games series, though I too was kind of late to the party when I first started to play and one of the main things that held back the immersion was its combat. I had heard a lot of praise for rocksteady's combat system in the games, and I wanted to like it, but it never really clicked for a while. The thing that I must have overlooked on my first play through was the pop up hint regarding "free flow" combat, and the way that you can reach that phase is hitting any number of enemies three times and then you can use your joystick on the controller to direct Batman's attacks wherever you want. I think you had mentioned in a previous video that you wished Batman would lock onto a target, and that was something I felt was lacking during my first playthrough, but by directing the joystick, it can reach a point where he is basically flying across the screen from enemy to enemy (which definitely heightened the immersion in the game an immense amount, where you could really live up to Rocksteady's slogan of "Be The Batman"). I don't know if this helps, but thought I might bring it up to also heighten your experience for the rest of the series, as it had done so for me.
