- In this video, I install a carbon fiber wing and canards from JC Sportline on my 2014 Audi R8 V8 Spyder. Came out awesome! And I also show you how I disabled/shut off the factory wing spoiler.

I don’t know. I like to mod cars that had a huge following with tons of aftermarket support. Hence why the base Mercedes c300 and base Audi A4. The R8 actually was never meant for RUclips 🤷🏻♂️

Literally. This car sticks to the road like glue. I’ve never driven a car that handles like this car and it being low and the Quattro makes cornering soooo easy. Sometimes kinda scary how fast you can take turns.
Any issues with those front canards only being secured by double sided tape? Getting ready to add some to my C63 and heard mixed thoughts on needing screws as well. You use 3M VHB? Thnx
Nope. 3M VHB is so strong if you install it correctly and prep the surface. I’ve used it on all my splitters, side skirts, carnards, spoilers and more.

I've got that same wing coming on Friday for my 2012 R8 Spyder. What type of screws did you get? You mentioned in the video you didn’t use the ones that came with it.
I don’t remember but they are the same size but slightly longer. Any auto part store should have them. Just take the included screws to the store and ask for a few slightly longer versions.

Cool. I wish this aftermarket wing mounted to the flat part of my oem wing but gotta do what I gotta do to mount them to the plastic netting. 🤷🏻♂️

Did you have any concerns of the spoiler coming off at high speeds as it's only connected to the adjustable spoiler? (that seems fairly fragile)
Never had an issue. Tons of people do the same thing. The adjustable spoiler is not fragile, it’s just flex’s a lot but i actually have some brackets holding it down to be more stable.

I have the convertible R8 where is the button for the spoiler?
Just near the gear shift. You have 5 buttons. From left to right: mag ride, esp, warning, spoiler and parking buzzer.
That carbon fiber w205 wing will go great with my dark blue vase model Mercedes and it’ll match my carbon wallet. #JCSportline.
