Some absolutely fantastic country up in the hills. The photography was bar none! (And 70 looks like she had a good day, and got to do a little hustling.)
Nathaniel this is absolutely an amazing video. The images are so pure & dramatic, they need no narration. Just picturesque scenes of a day with Polson70 in the NW. The use of pure sunlight, clouds of steam, closeups of the locomotive & it's running gear, & the dramatic drone images of the train moving through the forest & along the river absolutely capture the essence of what it is like to crew or ride on our MRSR. It's a stunning video!
One word, Awesome! What a great video. All the late winter cool weather of the Pacific Northwest brings out the beauty of steam. No words are needed in this video, it speaks for itself. Even my wife said it was so pretty seeing this.
This footage reminds me of all those late 90's railroad VHS tapes...Thunder on the Rails, Great Train Rides (or something like that?) All that's missing is the medium-deep voiced narrator, and slightly-corny synth-heavy theme music! lol
FEMA is working with us on repairing the washouts - there’s a ton of other work that would need to be done and we’re prioritizing track restoration towards Eatonville for now but it’s still an important part in stabilizing the ROW
@@mtrainierrail I can't wait, it has been years since I last heard the whistle of a locomotive in Eatonville! A trip to Morton would be fantastic! This is the best rumor I've heard lately!
It needs some electrical work before it could be used , “I’m no expert” but I would say the chances are decent it just isn’t the highest priority at the moment
That looks awesome! I cant wait to go there soon! also I've lived in Washington my hole life and have known about this place for years but haven't gone yet :(

I heard a rumor, that there is a plan to repair the line to Morton?
That should turn your check wallet light on!

Will the NP F unit ever operate again?
