The Ghosts of Nothing - available in audio, paperback, hardcover, e-book: books2read.com/theghostsofnothing Please leave me a review on Amazon or Audible after you're done. ❤✨
Tír na nÓg is Irish and it's not "Fairyland", It's the land of the Young. Or as my grandfather called it, The Land of the Forever Young. Another lovely video, I hope you keep narrating these.
In the meadow, be cautious. In the forest, be mindful. Stay on the path, or you may be whisked away, whisked away... to lands unknown. The good people are ever watchful and ever waiting. Be careful when you wander and be careful when you listen. Our Scary Fairy Godmother might just do the same with her stories, sweeping you up, and carrying you off to places you may never return from. Cozy up and settle in, with clothes inside out. It may be the only way you make it to the completion of these tales. Thank you SFG, we have all been excited to hear your next installment to the Fairy world.
Years ago when I was still in high school, I was doing a research project for some reason (I don't really remember why, I think it was on different accents for drama class?) and I'd gotten this set of old records out of the library that were stories being told in dialects of England. One of them was this old guy in his 70s or 80s, in Cornish dialect, talking about being pixie-mazed. He said he wandered around this field for ages until he realised what was going on, and remembered being told to turn his pockets out (inside out) and then he'd find his way back home. It was the only story I remember from that record (it was already really old by the time I got it from the library, I think it had been recorded in the 40s or 50s?).
If anyone hasn't seen the new movie "the watchers" I recommend you do so. It is based off the novel of the same name. I didn't know what it was going to be about when I walked in there but I did have a theory and it turns out I was right. It was about Ireland dark fairy lore. So if you haven't seen it I really think you should
Ah, crazy humanoid nyc subway dwellers of the 1990s. My childhood was so traumatic but also incredibly magical and strange. So much weird stuff happens when you’re a kid. It’s like the veil hasn’t been fully integrated into you yet so a lot of weirdness slips through. I used to see crazy colors in the form of dragons and all sorts of stuff on ceilings, had countless high strangeness in New York, slit eyes and other oddities, one time I went to my fridge and some energies flipped me upside down and I was just floating in the air like that. Then I finished the flip over and was placed on my feet in front of the fridge again
I must follow in their train Down the crooked fairy-lane Where the coney-rabbits long ago have gone, And where silverly they sing In a moving moonlit ring All a-twinkle with the jewels they have on. They are fading round the turn Where the glow-worms palely burn And the echo of their padding feet is dying! O! it's knocking at my heart Let me go! O let me start! For the little magic hours are all a-flying. O! the warmth! O! the hum! O! the colours in the dark! O! the gauzy wings of golden honey-flies O! the music of their feet-of their dancing goblin feet O! the magic! O! the sorrow when it dies. ~ J. R. R. Tolkien
I always get this feeling to have been watched I always feel like something that do not want to hurt me but want to stay beside me ...but this feelings give me chills most of the time ...what. To do I do not know ...
Made the mistake of falling asleep watching this and dreamt of fairies asking me to come away with them, playing fairy music (which sounded Irish). Had I realised it was a dream I would’ve gone.
quite apart from encountering otherworldly beings, to go out at dusk, in bad weather, on Dartmoor (or any moor) with no wet weather gear and no preparation is beyond fool hardy. Don't do it. Even if the weather looks fair, it can change on a sixpence. Even if you know the moor well, you can very easily get lost and die of exposure.
The German person calling them back, this means they belong to them, they are now incarnated as human but are from their kin. They recognise this person as one of them. Tir Nan Og (not properly typed) land of youth or yes, the land of the fair folk. Land of youth in exact translation.
I have been taken to their realm in dreams and a vision more than once. I was flown there in one dream in the back of one of them but told not to ask questions. I've eaten their weird food in a dream also; that one has me concerned and confused 🤔😕
Yeah that’s what I was thinking!! They just don’t remember yet . I wonder why they sent her to have an experience here. So many mysteries it really drives me a little crazy
So excited to have a new set of stories and even more happy that it's in a playlist. You are my favorite thing to listen to when I'm going to sleep. Your voice is soothing and the stories are superior
The other day I was in a part of the woods covered by dead leaves and naked trees, and saw a patch of land that stood out like an island of green, several metres away from the path. It was flanked by pine trees and covered in moss and various other plants. I explored it, and saw that someone had left behind a small teddy bear. I tried to tread softly and step on as few plants as possible, but one particularly loud footfall was followed by a growl, which I'd never heard in the woods before. It didn't feel extremely ominous but it felt like I had offended something, so I left. Is it best to leave that place alone altogether or should I approach it more slowly next time and leave an offering?
@@sisterbee Thank you for the advice. I wasn't sure how seriously one should take a growl but recently I've learned how territorial the Fae can be (which should have been a no-brainer) and that one must earn the Fae's benevolence by gaining insight and understanding what they would appreciate or what makes us good company.
It is getting more and more difficult for an honest fae to entice a human into another realm.🧚♀️🧚♂️🧚 Damn laser shows, special effects, and neon lights!
I bought your book! Im seriously excited and enjoying it already. I cant wait to see where its goes with her mom and dad. I also lowkey hope she trams up with her bully lol. I've been watching your channel for a couple years now, I think towards the end of middle school, so it's so exciting to see you publish a work of your own. Keep it up SFG!!😊
Thank you! I really hope you enjoy the whole journey of the book. I think it gets the most exciting in the second half. That's where the fairies have the most impact. I'm working on the sequel now! :)
The UAPs lights in the first story making patterns reminded me of human drones doing the same thing so could those UAPs/Lights be their version of drones with the Fae showing them off just to amuse themselves at the expense of humans just to see their reactions same as we do when we place a mirror in an apes enclosure?
Another great video, SFG! I absolutely love getting to hear all of these eerie stories... On top of the entertainment value, they also provide just enough insight for what to do in a situation... One never knows when they themselves may be Pixie-Led...
Dear Scary Fairy Godmother, I love your channel and I always look forward to new episode. Also, I plan to read your book - it will probably be the first novel in English I will read ;)
Omg omg omg, I've loved your channel for years now and I look forward to every new release. So I instantly clicked as soon as I saw this new release, I've just realised "slipped" is my story!!!! My real life experience as a teen. Scary fairy godmother I can't tell you how excited I am to hear you read out the account of my experience ❤❤Thank you!!!!! You've done an amazing job. I feel honoured ❤❤
I’ve been waiting for the ghosts of nothing to be on audio for it to be accessible to me and I’m so excited!! Can’t wait to get started 😄 and fantastic vid as always. Your vids are like no other and I live on these stories.
I’ve almost finished your book on Audible & thoroughly enjoyed it, especially as it goes forward. Her innocence was a little bit over the top in the beginning but that’s probably just me- I’m 1 of those people that gets mad with characters in movies too & can’t help but work out what’s going to happen (I drive my partner crazy) but I really loved the way you have portrayed the fairies! It’s how I love to think of them too. If you want me to I will write a review?? Please let me know. 😎♥️🌈♥️🧚♥️✌️
Thanks! I'm so glad you've been enjoying it. Yes, Nelly is quite innocent in the beginning for sure, but she's 16 and I was pretty innocent at that age, too, so hopefully it's not too unrealistic. Maybe it was just me, lol. Yes, I would love it if you wrote a review! Thank you, I really appreciate it. :D
No, but if our videos have similar themes, it's either a weird coincidence or the fairies at work. I choose the themes of my videos based on the stories I've collected and am able to put together in that particular month.
@ScaryFairyGodmother ROFL the faeries at work 🤣 Nice one I love both channels BTW. Though Faerie encounters is more like a Faerie headline news channel and yours explores the subject in far more depth so both filling their particular niches explendidly.
I'm a huge admirer of Cecily's but our videos follow their own paths. I tend to work intuitively: just begin reading something, somewhere and see where it leads me. There's oftentimes more than a pinch of serendipity (or Fairy inspiration) in the mix too. The more people talking about the Fairies the better! Cheers, Kitty.
@@RoyCyberPunk I am surprised that you think @FairyEncounters goes into less depth than Scary Fairy. Scary Fairy presents the stories where Fairy Encounters usually tries to add some analysis/insights into the encounters she explores. Both are amazing.
I share both sorts of stories on the channel. But I don't mix fictional and true stories in the same video. Each video is either dedicated to true encounters or to fictional stories.
How come I never seen a fairy? The most ive seen were demons are demons and fairies alike ? Do they try to snatch your soul. I didn't want to watch/ listen to the video because its 5Am 😂 ill probably watch it later though ❤😊

Says guy with crazy hair: “I’m not saying it’s fairies… but it’s fairies.”
Yes! They mess with your hair and they've done that to me in my house. I also get itchy on my head or goosebumps on my crown.😂😂
