Correct about the types of feedback. I get that the developers and the community manager shouldn't have to respond to every comment, but it comes down to HOW they respond to any kind of negative feedback thats important. I've heard that issues on the PTS that developers were made aware of weren't being addressed either. I've heard players say they won't give feedback now because it's falling on deaf ears. If me, a plain Jane gamer from nowhere is hearing this, it tells me the state of the game is bad. Sad, because this was my first mmorpg game and I fell in love with it.
I agree but we can't Sugarcoat it. They have ignored and censored feedback way to much as it is. Things need to change for the game to truly get better. I hope they turn this around and start listening to the feedback to bring this game to where it needs to be.
I'm sure that at some point we can all hope we can actually have the dev team/community manager actually accept the feedback without locking threads or deleting post.
My feedback as a player for many years is that the move to Broadsword hasn't really paid dividends yet. I'm still seeing a heavy emphasis on cartel market items, not a lot of new story content, we've been stuck on this Mandalorian/Malgus saga for what feels like a decade at this point and we're still not moving past it. I get that they're laying the groundwork for the future right now, but I hope they realize that they inherited a community that is gettin' increasingly fed up with the way this game has been handled. As a community manager, you gotta realize interacting with the community isn't going to be all sunshine and rainbows. Right now the community is upset, and they deserve to have their voices heard and respected. You don't respect them by locking threads, deleting posts and going on the attack. That's just gonna push more of your dedicated community away from the game. In regards to the undisclosed price increases - they were just tryin' to be cheeky about it. They thought they could sneak it by and nobody would notice, but they forgot that a large percentage of people who play SWTOR have been playin' for years. When you change something, we're gonna notice. Not the best way to build good will with the community. Anyway, good video and I agree with a lot of what you said about this situation
Thank you. The thing we have to keep our eye on is how we can get a response. I had some luck on X but not much else. Hopefully they can save this thing and we all have a game to play we can be happy with.
Liked and Subbed my guy :D
Thank you so much
