Good video but you can't compare Digital Ocean and AWS to A2 hosting and other such companies. They support completely different hosting models. One is based on automated and containerized deployments and the other is based on the older VPS/FTP model of hosting.
Well you were using it wrong. You should make your clients pay for the hosting. I did that mistake in the past for hosting multiple sites in one big server but that comes with big minuses.
Tldw: " I believe the service I promote using provides the least amount of fear and resistance in my target customer base. I also believe that the service I use provides the greatest amount of reliability. I believe this provides the greatest number of new clients in my target market and I am recommending this frame and system. "
EXACTLY! - i tried to use logging in with SSH private/public keys instead of a root password on digital ocean and i wasted so much time trying to work out why that wasn't working... wasting time and stopping me from creating content and value. I think it works well if the origin host is a ubuntu box, but i tried using my macbook and ran into problems
Hello. I’m a CS student looking to monetize my education for myself. I understand the web and web hosting. Does your course go over the business of starting your own web hosting/management company or does it only detail the web hosting practices themselves. Also how would you go about getting customers?
I dont understand why you didnt just give each client their own Droplet. It sounds like you are shifting the responsibility to them but you should have set up load balancing or put them on separate droplets.
This isn’t cost effective. It would be $500/mo for all my clients compared to $45/mo for hosting. More complexity and headache managing 80 droplets. No cPanel for clients. This is a stupid comment.
bullshit, this entire video is bullshit, at the end the guy says you can do all this good stuff with aws and digitalocean too you just have to set it up manually a year ago if I watched this video I would've probably went along, because I was new at all of this but I choose the "hard" way, honestly it is easy as long as you don't give up and keep learning by doing research using internet
I hate DIGITALOCEAN, they have harassed my servers DAILY for years. They promised to work the issue if I sent them my logs, after two weeks there has been little to no reduction in harassment
You’re not using it because they don’t sponsor you
Aws never sponsor anyone...
@@SouravRoy-mq2xv they don’t need to…
@@CubanCigars i already know that.... Probably you know this after 8 months..😎
@@SouravRoy-mq2xv lol you just need to be explained with details
@@CubanCigars bro ...just look at your Main Comment ...You Will Understand..🙏

Bussy A2 Hosting is very costy than Digital ocean & Aws
Why not AWS lightsail? It seems so easy while still offering the benefits of a VPC. You load up wordpress with just a single click
i dont get it, why not setup a whm on your aws then introduce a separate cpanel for each of your clients. That way you can redistribute it, right?
I agree ^
Yes that's a great solution!

Yes! Everything is explained in the course.
And I couldn't even connect through FTP because I had no idea the server had went down..Oh no, it only been 4 days. I will pass.
So it's a question of Money & Resources VS Time & Effort...

Appreciate the side hustle 💪
Gotta get that affiliate money.
@@bluewolf37777 lol xD
what microphone are you using here - sound is clear and loud
A2Hosting was infected in 2019, i lost a contract as the site remain inaccessible for over a month. It was an emeritus disaster
Maybe you should’ve taken better backups.
So would you say that you make more money from your affiliate referrals or your hosting?
Definitely the hosting.

I do not have any prior experience with AWS or with any other web hosting. Do you think would it make sense for me to start with AWS and learn this?
What chair are you using in this vid?
A2 is not cloud server, cannot be compared with AWS, DO, Google Cloud, etc.
I disagree.
idk but digital ocean start charging me for no reason.
What camera are you using brother?
Sony A7III

Its not user friendly, it is not. Thats correct
lol... seems like A2 pays well... I don't understand how you compare AWS and Digital ocean to a crap like A2 hosting
Digital is very bad, Aws is crazy expensive
You need to be more honest, you don't v any knowledge from just listening to you
He just wants the affiliate money from the sound of things.
Are you promoting A2hosting? 🤪
A2 is crap. Period.
