I've been maining the MGC for the longest time and it held up fine enough for me despite it being annoyingly prone to hard lockups, recently switched to the 562m and it really has been making me feel like I've been missing out in the recent advancements made in hardware. Small Correction: The Hong is 60mm, 2mm smaller than the MGC and all other 5x5s shown apart from the AoChaung. Other than that really good video.
Thank you. Yea, I had an old MFJS non-magnetic 5x5. When I got back into cubing the Gan had just came out and I got that and the Hong and wow has the hardware come a long way in the last 7 years.
Thank you! Yea, I forgot about it too until I saw it in SpeedCubeShop's sale section. I'm a huge fan of DaYan, always have been but that 5x5 made me sad.
Thats awesome. I still solve all of them too. The Gan is my main but I still give all of em some love. I like 5x5 becuase its not so easy but doesnt take as long as 7. A nice midrange challenge
@@Fatrock1.0 I feel exactly the same lol. I like the crunchiness of the GAN, in descending order like probably like TheValk, Hong, DaYan, AoChuang, MGC. The outer layers on the hong feel amazing like a TV3, but the inners feel too slow and gummy. TheValk is a little less stable depending on setup but it’s way faster. Yea and the second part, I really like 5x5 because it’s the fastest big cube that’s fun to solve, fun to watch, and no parities that can ruin a solve like 4x4
@@xp.wesley858 I agree with the hongs inner layers being a tad too sluggish. A specific lube could probably help with that though. Im also a huge fan of the valk. I always feel like im going to break the DaYan though. The corner stalks feel too bendy for me lol.
I bought the dayan one coz it was recommended in a cubicle video, i hated it 😢 yeah I would rather use an MGC 5. I have all 5x5s in this video except the valk, and i would rank them the same way you did. Gan>Hong>Aochuang>MGC>Nezha
Yea. I'm a huge fan of DaYan but that 5x5 was just so terrible for the price tag that it has. Luckily I got mine on sale for almost half off. Knowing what I know now I'd never pay full price for that. I assume you main the GAN? Also, if you want the Valk for collection purposes, I'd definitely get it soon! It's going to get harder to find.
@@Fatrock1.0 yeah I would definitely get a valk for collection purposes, it was on top for so long that it's so iconic! Yeah I main the gan now but i only average sub 3-mins 😅 sub-20 on the 3x3
You are probably going to have to make a new one when the new moyu cube comes out in a month or two. Supposed to be really good, and given that the original WRM was really solid, I can imagine it being as good as the Gan but at a cheaper price.
Very Good Review. I Enjoyed This.
Thank you! I hope to make another comparison soon now that the new MoYu 5x5 is out!
Your Very Welcome. That would be Cool. Your Videos are very Solid. Your Very Detailed.
@@brentrichter3134 Thank you!

The Dayan sounds like a lubed meilong, so I know what you mean. Also, incredible video bro.
Thank you! I really appreciate that! And yeah, the Dayan was definitely a flop for its price. Just feels too cheap.
I totally forgot that the dayan nezha exist... nice video

The same line up of flagship 5x5s I have lol. Love this event!

i actually just got the gan 5x5 and I LOVE IT like i swear i just had a 3 hour session of just 5x5
I feel like thats really easy to do with the GAN. Idrk how much time I spent on 5 after I got it but it was a lot lol

Nice! Im averaging around 1:25 on 5x5. Trying to get to 1. Sub 20 on 3x3 as well!

You're right. I probably will! 5x5 is my favorite so it's incredibly likely. I can't wait til tbe AuChuang V6 is ready for pre-order!
Urderatted
Thanks! I just started RUclips lol
