Hello L&C: Have been following your process on your kitchen garden and lawn. Let me give a few pointers; in transplanting the plants from the pots, squeeze around the bottom to loosen the roots, the plants with long roots can be trimmed, all this encourages new growth. With the crotons, as they grow and you trim them, put in water and they will root within a week, then you can plant. From one plant you will get many in the future. Wanderer is such a Lovely loving kitten.
Thank you so much for these.
❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hello Linet and Charlow,
"You should always loosen plant roots before you put a plant into the ground. This is because the roots have grown to the shape of their previous container, and may continue growing in that shape even once they have more space. Loosening them encourages them to branch out."
I noticed you use the word "flower' when talking about 'plants'.
This is common in Africa and in my own country too. But we can correct it.
Great progress in your home. Shalom.
Thank you so much for this information.
I actually implemented it today

I'm your followers for a long time. I have watched almost all your videos. In your 2 separate you tube. Today let me comment. My advice when planting trees around your home. Consider how their roots behave after a tree mature. If you know every tree by name Google. And read the history of that tree. Other trees their roots go far and spoil underground pipes. Some trees fall easily during rain etc . In short some trees need a big compound so that they are far from the house. I hope you get my point.
Wow this is so informative thank you so much Bosire
Linet i always love watching you and charlow's videos , the redish colorful plants are all cortons , there is a very large variety of croton with different types of leaf patterns, love love your garden , yall really try, y'all encourage me to plant, I've just started with a small area in my back yard
Thanks for the info!

I feel u can still plant some maize on a small portion within the kitchen garden.eg u can plant 20 seeds and u will have fresh maize within 60 days after that the patch will be free to plant another vegetable.Heard of crop rotation😅
That's a great idea!
Just start watching you guys lovely home and garden❤

Yes, thank you
Wanderer is a good name for Kitty ❤ You are very welcome ❤
Thank you so much
Linet 15 eggs is too many for one hen to sit on. The hen will not hutch then all. You could have put 10 maximum. Kama unataka kuku wako alalie mayayi vizuri tumia kitu kama old bucket. Cut half then put saw dust ndani. Ama soil then put your eggs. And sprinkle some ashes it brings warmth. For eggs to hutch all they need enough warmth
Thank you so much for the tip
❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏

Congratulations L&K I love your energy, where exactly is your home, am conversant with most parts of kirinyaga, can one get a full acre and at how much?
If you knock off some of that soil on plants you have more roots to catch in the ground it grows better
Thank you so much again for the update.
I'm actually doing it now after learning
@@Linet_ke yes the root would have to come out of the soil it's already in and then root in ground
Glad I could be of some help your garden is gonna be lovely
You can sprinkle the seeds of the spinach (callaloo) and give your neighbors some. When they grow up you can transplant anywhere you please. Where I live, I plant them in large plastic containers.
Thank you so much for the tip
hi Linet the small plant with the pink flower is a 'Carnation

Yes it's our land
@@Linet_ke Good job linet, my dream is to own a home someday with such a beautiful kitchen garden
Ia am wondering if you mean baking powder or soda which is not easily accessible in shashemene Ethiopia. Is there an alternative?
It's baking soda
@@Linet_keWhere n for what is baking soda used for?
Baking Soda is also known as Bicarbonate of Soda. Try with that name.
@@kimnanjala9671it's used in baking but it can also be used in organic farming as insecticide, when combined with white vinegar.
The combination has many other uses around the house as well. Google it.❤
😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your videos are quite long, try to shorten them!
I'll try!
Can you use the vinegar and baking soda on the Kale 🥬 or the entire garden? ❤
Actually I use it on the entire garden.
