Hey !! My honda city ivtech 2021 is having a minor misfire whenever rpm reaches between 1600- 1700 rpm. After 1700rpm, car runs smooth ! Idling is smooth. Driving till 1600 rpm is smooth. We feel as if cylinder imbalance at this rpm. No check engine light. This misfire happens in the morning cold. After running for 5-10kms, turn the car off n start again misfire disappears. Then whole day no misfire.. car ran only 20k kms. Changed coils, cleaned MAF, MAP, plugs, egr and throttle body, changed oil n filter. Same. Mileage at city 8, highway 14. If we keep car running at idle, it drinks fuel like anything.. Pickup feels a bit less. Specially if in stop n go traffic, car feels about to stall if driven in 2nd gear. Honda guys even did compression test which was all gud. No smoke. What should I look for ? M clueless ! If we connect scanner n look for live data, we can see random misfire counts from cylinder 1 to 4. But number are not constant in each drive cycle. Please suggest if you have some clues. :(

@@mathew1539 did you check fuel pump pressure? You did not mention if you had the injector cleaned. Get someone to check the injector pulse. Sometimes spark plugs are the culprit. I faced a similar incident with my honda when I changed the plugs it started to show misfire in the 2nd cylinder and as soon as i replaced the old ones it was fine. Hope this helps

@@AaravTheExplorerOfficial fuel injection was at 2.8 at idle. Honda guys checked fuel pressure and ruled that out. Ruled out spark plugs as all cylinders shows misfire randomly. I.e it's not always one cylinder which misfires. STFT at 1.00, LTFT at .99 at idle. However I have my doubts on MAF and oxygen sensor but not sure if the readings are right with respect to other honda.

@@mathew1539 did they open the injectors to check there is no leak? I still have a feeling your sparks plugs are not good. If you have someone with a spark plug check machine get them checked on high rpm. Share Maf reading and o2 volt readings as your sftf does not indicate any high fuel consumption to me. What is ur contact number

@@AaravTheExplorerOfficial honda guys did swap the plugs of another vehicle with mine to see if issue went away but it persists. Never pulled out injectors to clean but instead used the injector cleaner additives. Oxygen sensor voltage B1 s1 is at 2.33V at idle. Oxygen sensor B1 S2 at 0.69V. Maf at idle(780 rpm) is 2.23 g/s. At steady raised 1389 rpm MAF is at 9.24 g/s which is think is a bit low. But not sure though..

@@mathew1539 your o2 sensor bank 1 voltage looks out. 2.3 vot is way too high it should be less than 0.9. i would like you to check air to fuel ratio now it should be 14.7:1 at idle. The o2s1b1 reading you shared shows the o2 sensor is faulty. Get this checked. Your car runs too lean in this case. I would also suggest you get the sensor checked there could be a minor leak. Honda city as far as i know does not have a dedicated maf sensor, it uses MAP sensor and the IAT sensor to calculate maf readings. Lets first get 2 things checked o2 sensor 1 and injector leaks.
