Oddly enough, I have been running ETL for more than a decade using Postgres, perl, and a host of other source formats. Targets were Postgres, Mongo, Monet, and Cassandra. A little Hadoop was tried, but didn't fit our business model. Wonderful presentation this! Thank you, Raghu-ji.

Then i am going to jump in data engineer tasks and i am damn sure i will get a job as data engineer very soon because of raghu sir. Very excellent way to clear every aspects. It's said that the output of map in map reduce must be a key value pair. But we can't make (key, value) out of everything. What if we needed other data structures? Is map reduce limited to only counting tasks?
