Some worked better, others not so much, some had the adjustable gas, others didn't, etc. I liked them 😊 Other guys bitched about the weight, but grunts will literally bitch about *anything* 😑 But the reliability issues have kind of been mostly okay with me, like 75%, not stellar, but not terrible either.

So I guess wait til ammo prices drop.

The end result is some guns would foul the port far faster and at an uneven rate, so the gas system is operating outside of spec Don't assume user error just because you had an easy time. It is 5.56mm. This is an intermediate cartridge firing a lightweight .22 caliber bullet. It has extremely low recoil even in an M4 carbine. The M249 is more than twice the weight of an M4 carbine, so it isn't surprising it has virtually no recoil.
