I was pouring out my spirit on God more than ever. I long for another Spirit-filling. I have read the scriptures many, many times. After accepting Christ's salvation my first church was a vision casting, new revelation accepting charismatic church with 3,000 people attending. I sat under the teaching of some of the famous teachers of that time, Hinn, Godwin, Wimber, Jones, Brown and on and on. Since I learned how to study the word of God with a sound biblical hermeneutic and learned to keep the word of God in context my walk with Christ has been more sensational than ever.
My life with Christ has become stronger and more fulfilling since I learned to think and study His word with my head and not my emotions. Emotions WILL deceive you at the most critical of times. Studying with biblical hermeneutics and keeping the word of God in context will trump false prophecy every single time.
Bro, I just have to say, stop leaning so hard on your own understanding. The bible was not meant to just understand with your head. That is only the most superficial layer of understanding. There is a reason the word says scripture cannot be properly understood apart from the Holy Spirit enlightening his word. Anything less than that is just phariseeism.

I agree that we have all the revelation we need in Scripture and that sound hermeneutics are essential. I find that most charismatic Christians are willing to accept both of those truths as long as you explain them properly and kindly. They are not trying to add to the canon of Scripture, nor do they want to take Scripture out of context. They will usually accept any correction about these issues when you speak with the right attitude and without pride.

Mike- I agree with you-a lot of televangelists are bad Christian witnesses but that doesn't negate the supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit are present today. That's why we use dicernment and should not be overly emotional. But remember God created emotion and Christ showed emotion crying, rejoicing and showing anger at the hyprocracy of others. I understand that there has been much deceit and many abuses in the prophetic and supernatural areas so I can see where you are coming from.
Here is a thought. Don't be so concerned about the people worshipping. Worship God yourself. I minimized the screen and went in to worship myself. I had to learn this the hard way. As a worship leader: I use to let the look on peoples faces move me or distract me. Then I learned better.

He dwells in the Holy temple (your body) and said not to defile the temple. He said to defile the temple is death. He's always serious about everything He said to do. He's just as serious about what He said not to do. We live in obedience to His law, every word if it! He dwells within us all to be with and lead us in His ways. 💕🙏 Deuteronomy 28 there are blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. The whole chapter, and verse 46 is one example of generational curses. These go into the following generations, the 3 and 4th. Our children pay the price for our sin. Stop sinning you are sending consequences to yourself and to your loved ones, children. By God's law you are. If you don't believe me ask Him, in Jesus name may you see and know the truth in it's fullness. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. He's worthy of everything He said and paid for, so I implore you to do as God said. Jesus said If you love me you will obey my commands. I have read the scriptures many, many times. After accepting Christ's salvation my first church was a vision casting, new revelation accepting charismatic church with 3,000 people attending. I sat under the teaching of some of the famous teachers of that time, Hinn, Godwin, Wimber, Jones, Brown and on and on. Since I learned how to study the word of God with a sound biblical hermeneutic and learned to keep the word of God in context my walk with Christ has been more sensational than ever.
My life with Christ has become stronger and more fulfilling since I learned to think and study His word with my head and not my emotions. Emotions WILL deceive you at the most critical of times. Studying with biblical hermeneutics and keeping the word of God in context will trump false prophecy every single time.
Bro, I just have to say, stop leaning so hard on your own understanding. The bible was not meant to just understand with your head. That is only the most superficial layer of understanding. There is a reason the word says scripture cannot be properly understood apart from the Holy Spirit enlightening his word. Anything less than that is just phariseeism.

I agree that we have all the revelation we need in Scripture and that sound hermeneutics are essential. I find that most charismatic Christians are willing to accept both of those truths as long as you explain them properly and kindly. They are not trying to add to the canon of Scripture, nor do they want to take Scripture out of context. They will usually accept any correction about these issues when you speak with the right attitude and without pride.

Mike- I agree with you-a lot of televangelists are bad Christian witnesses but that doesn't negate the supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit are present today. That's why we use dicernment and should not be overly emotional. But remember God created emotion and Christ showed emotion crying, rejoicing and showing anger at the hyprocracy of others. I understand that there has been much deceit and many abuses in the prophetic and supernatural areas so I can see where you are coming from.

Here is a thought. Don't be so concerned about the people worshipping. Worship God yourself. I minimized the screen and went in to worship myself. I had to learn this the hard way. As a worship leader: I use to let the look on peoples faces move me or distract me. Then I learned better.
Jesus Christ is the son of God who died and rose three days later and loves all of you. He died for everyone and wants you with Him, to know Him and live for His glory. Come be saved eternally and spend time with Him to know Him. Be saved, free, forgiven, healed, delivered, baptized, whole and let Him show you how He is everything you need.

People need to turn from their wicked ways, Jesus paid for it. That's God stating it in that verse and there are more verses. People need to repent, to be cleansed by His blood and live Holy because He's Holy and righteous because He's righteous. Our God said to stop sinning in many many scriptures and He paid for everyone to be cleansed of sin (Isaiah 53), and to live how He said. He dwells in the Holy temple (your body) and said not to defile the temple. He said to defile the temple is death. He's always serious about everything He said to do. He's just as serious about what He said not to do. We live in obedience to His law, every word if it! He dwells within us all to be with and lead us in His ways. 💕🙏
Deuteronomy 28 there are blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. The whole chapter, and verse 46 is one example of generational curses. These go into the following generations, the 3 and 4th. Our children pay the price for our sin. Stop sinning you are sending consequences to yourself and to your loved ones, children. By God's law you are. If you don't believe me ask Him, in Jesus name may you see and know the truth in it's fullness. Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
He's worthy of everything He said and paid for, so I implore you to do as God said. Jesus said If you love me you will obey my commands. Love Him with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. 💖🔥🕊️🙏

I agree with you. Why is the Church today so afraid to let go and truly worship God? I think they are more interested in being entertained and not worshiping! All through Psalms you see them saying the same thing over and over again!

Not at all!!!! I was telling her that if she says this is more like New Age, then she doesn't know how to tell the difference between new age and God's music. I was in the movement before my conversion and Misty is quoting scripture which never would happen in New Age music. I don't think anyone should touch New Age anything.
