- Good matches and bad matches happen, thus is the nature of any game. In this particular match, both teams tried to throw and my team was 3-8 down at one point! Thankfully the enemy team got complacent and the remaining 4 of us were able to play well to comeback for a glorious victory!

Well, I try to help. Many other QP strats for each map and many compie strats but thought I'd highlight some. Kinda tired of players just running into the enemy and suiciding by enemy fire... :( - BrioS

So true. I'm still learning a lot from the top players in the game. Mechanically, reflexes and vision 🤭 can't match them but whatever I learn I thought I'd share some QP related advice.
Games are always dynamic and not everything goes according to plan but I just hope people learn a bit, improve and enjoy doing the game better. 😃 - BrioS

Oh, I use the MWO comp maps website. It's damn good albeit not perfect (eg. Viridian Bog Assault is missing from the list).

Hi Brios, what mech would you recommend for the Free Hero Mech if someone has no Hero mechs at all. Just started playing like 6 months ago.
Oh, I would say that really depends on (1) preferred playstyle, (2) weight class and (3) fun or meta.
CRAEL is a good brawler, easy to use but cheap so don't redeem it.
DREADNOUGHT is a good assault with 4B and 5E hard points.
MOONWALKER is wonderful for dakka with 6B hard points.
ARROW is fun and very high DPS but a glass cannon.
JUGGERNAUT might be very powerful post April patch with MASC and 8 LAC5.
HEAVY METAL poptarts like a boss but that style is harder to play.
So those are my recommendations. Nowadays (almost) all the variants have good builds you can do on them.
I recommend finding a hero and a build that suits your playstyle (eg. Clan heavy mech laservomit) and then redeeming that one.

Thanks for your reply. I really like dakka so was considering the UV or Moonwalker. Although my assault knowledge is kinda bad for now lol. Keep getting shot up in my KGC but generally ok for my warhawk and stalker (was based on your binary and ER ML build) but switched to 5 ER LL. Found the heat abit much to handle for the binaries
Will I still find public games of MWO ?
Public games? You wondering if the servers are up and running? If so, they still are. There has been a resurgence of sorts since 2021 with new content like weapons and maps and stuff. Game still alive... - BrioS
