dude you're gonna love this game trust me, it's a rare peak roblox game. here's some tips for the potential next video: - you often talked about wanting to get a first strike on enemies. you can't jump on them but you can sword attack them or throw the ball at them. it'll give you more attack on your first attack - the sword bar thing when you hold the space around down comes back after it hits the end, so when the green is super close to the start of it you can just hold it for a while and it'll come back - blue noob is a girl. not a tip but yk trivia - almost every song if not all of them uses the earthbound sound font. the ost goes crazy, especially in the later parts - in the menu theres an option to change menu and animation flavour. menu flavour just changes the menu hud colours, but animation flavour changes your in-battle animations. its purely cosmetic so it doesnt change the way you fight. it also changes your victory pose have fun playing peak
i absolutely adore this game you have NO idea. i love the all the old roblox references and i cannot describe how excited i am that YuB is playing it as well! just one small tip for you, most of the cards in blocktales cater to multiplayer parties with certain roles for example, some cards will have you sacrificing attack damage in turn for being able to support your friends in battle the game works fine singleplayer but if you can get a party with some other creators going i think these videos will reach peak chaos :3 edit: oh, one other thing, when unlocking new powers backtrack and see if there's anything that looked unusual in the environment, you can unlock some pretty cool cards and areas just by taking a few notes during the journey (i.e. there's something in the sewer of the first area!! but you need a powerup you get way later on to access it !!)

Some tips: -training wheels isn’t really all that great, just learn the timing through trial and error -change the music in setting to not distort on low hp -you can hit enemies with the ball or sword outside of encounters to get the jump on them -there are animation “flavors” in the settings that change your idle animation and win animation
Epic tips and tricks: - If you find enemies with armor, use sword since it can penetrate half of the armor - The bomb Is able to do 2 damage to every enemy and to you - In Bizville (the city at the beggining) there's a shop where you can buy items and in iron café (a restaurant at Bizville) you can find Two shops - If you choose the wrong stat when you level up, go to the library at Bizville where you can respec your stats - In the menu, there's a fast travel option. You can teleport to certain wihout having to walk
some quick simple tips (and fun stuff) in case YuB notices this comment: - incase the sword timing is too quick to land it in the green to deal more damage, the bar actually bounces back when it hits the far right side, so you dont have to hit it on your first go - you can use your ball, or sword, to attack the enemies in the overworld before initiating a battle, doing so will give you an attack boost for one turn - in the overworld there are some spots with secret BUX and/or cards that you can find, and in bizville you can enter a few of the shops/buildings fun cosmetic thing: - in the options, you can choose “Menu” and “Animation” flavors, which change the color of your UI and change your animations when in battle

Some good tips for YuB: -to get an advantage over an enemy you’re fighting, hit them with your ball or sword to increase your damage by 1, and the buff won’t go away until you use an attack. -Enemies with a spike icon under their health bar are immune to the ball, which means you can only hit them with your sword. -Running from battles makes you lose tix, so only run when you absolutely need to. Also, running from battles has a chance to fail. -Dodging requires FRAME PERFECT timing, while blocking is only when the enemy is right about to hit you. -I subscribed, and turned my notifications on. You guys should, too!
@@YuB frame perfect thing is...not true, by the way. its just got tighter timing than the regular block, as if it were frame perfect s o m e battles would be impossible due to some attacks not being blockable
that's not true. you only have frame perfect dodges when you purposefully use the hard mode+ cards and use the max thorn cards to lower your defense and blocking window even more(but thats not worth it bc even failing to dodge one attack would do 5 extra damage and you usually wouldnt want that. the current hardest boss in the game would literally demolish you in one turn even if you have the max hp possible with that setup if you fail to dodge a single attack)
You're gonna love this game's soundtrack. It was made by a few people, one of them is Nicopatty. Also there is a card called linebounce that you get very soon after you ended the video. It's a pretty cool card that lets your ball bounce to all the the next enemy as many times as you hit the quick time event.

Hey YuB! I’ve been a fan of your videos quite a while ago and I really like the Block Tales video! If you don’t mind, please play more and I’ll surely give you some tips! (Without spoiling lol) -At one point you noticed when you dodged an attack, you didn’t always counter attacks. That’s because when you did counterattack, you blocked right before the attack landed. Whether you counterattack or not, essentially depends on when you block attacks. For Projectile attacks, you just completely dodge those instead of blocking! -As you might know already, you can enable and disable whether random members can join you in your battles. I don’t mind about your choice, but I do Recommend playing with friends if you can. Mid-bosses Bosses do get a little challenging, and are designed for multiple people to go against, so be careful! -Lastly, I suggest you prepare yourself for bosses and mid-bosses when you think you’re going to fight one. But sometimes they can happen a little unexpectedly. That’s really all I know. I could’ve said that in fewer words, but I’m sure you’ll appreciate the help anyway! Be safe!

this game is so good! I’m glad you’re playing it, the voice acting is something I never thought I needed here’s some advice for future parts of the game: Once you get the hang of timing your attacks, you should get “Ante Up” from the bux shop, it makes it so you gain an extra attack point, but if you fail the action, you deal 0 damage. The extra hard mode badges give you a fairly good amount of an xp bonus, so whichever of the downsides don’t seem too bad at the time (2x damage, no superguards, or 1/2 guarding window), you should equip the respective hard mode badge to level up more. also, never use thick skull. It does nothing besides disable xp gain. Finally, sp and hp are both great increases, but there are cards that provide extra sp and hp, so usually I level up bp, that way you have the extra hp and sp, and can swap it out for cards you might need later on.
FINALLY, FINALLY YES YES YES YES YES IM SO HAPPY DUDE. I bet your gonna enjoy the entire series. (It has 3 chapters right now and will have about 12 or 13 chapters (i think))
Here's a tip. In the caves try to go for ant armies first cause they can spawn other ant armies and they can get out of hand! And if you are ever having a hard time blocking try double tapping the block button, it helps

im SOSOSOSO glad ur playing this, and i’d love to see you play more. :) If you ever play again, there IS a fast travel system in the menu if you havent seen it already. you should consider heading back to bizville whenever you get your next fast travel checkpoint and checking out some of the shops there, like the iron cafe. Some of the items can be pretty helpful. Also, there's a LOT of bux hidden around every area, and you definitely missed a few. some will be pretty hard to find, you should look around as many are hidden behind walls that wont be visible.

i am so happy that yub is playing block tales. i love it so much ALSO. there's lots of goodies hidden around, so keep looking! you missed one back by the second trampoline, where if you jumped on it and landed on the lamppost nearest it you'd have gotten a burger. bombs are the only way to defeat a mini "boss"(quotations because it's not really a boss)(you can buy them near it so dw about stock piling em yet) practice dodging! there's a mini boss that does HEAVY DAMAGE with each attack, so you DON'T wanna get hit. you can play with people, but you can disable it in settings(i think, i mainly play in a private server because i'm stupid and lonely) also also i did not expect yub to give the deepest voice to a literal 12 year old(red, he's a kid but i dunno his exact age. him and blue are probably around the same age, so it's the same for her) it's kinda funny lolz
I'm so glad ur playing block tales (AND HOW THE HECK DID YOU GET ATK-FX R ITS LIKE A 2%) Tips: -Have some BP upgrades but don't max it until like chapter 3 cuz you'll have less hp/sp -Using a knight build is the best for dps but a baller build is better for support due to all of the all cards that inflict status conditions. (NOTE: On most bosses status conditions are not guaranteed to be afflicted on them) -All waterfalls have a secret behind them, even frozen ones. -If you're alone you get 2 turns, if you're with other people you only get 1 turn each. -Don't equip every card you find and waste ur bp like I did lol -There's a sword-related card back at Bizville(the starting area) that you need to break some planks for -If you take mortal damage, your hp will tick down and during this time you can heal to, yk, not die This next part is a small 🚨 SPOILER 🚨 After beating chapter 1 go to the far left of the airport, and enter the building with an open door, there you can talk to a guy to refight the final bosses of each chapter, and if you refight the chapter 1 boss multiple times you get a cool card.
Hey Yub, just so you know, back in Bizville, there's a blocked off area next to the library in the first part of the town. If you break it, there's a bunch of rats inside that you have to defeat in order to get a special ability. Once aquired, the ability allows you to throw ur sword at enemies, which is pretty epic in my opinion. Love ur videos btw, keep it up!
heres some tips for ya. - you CAN strike an enemy first if you swing your sword/throw your ball at them before the battle starts - when holding the space for the sword quick time event, you can hold it as long as you want and itll keep going back and forth - you can also change your menu color/battle animation if you change your "flavor" in settings

Heres a tip: you can dodge or counter an attack from the enemies by pressing spacebar or lmb at the perfect timing. You can also get more advateges by getting more bp for cards. Another tip you should know is that the enviorment changes when you do different interactions with (for now only 2) npcs. 8 very useful tips down here Here are some very useful tips I think you should use (because I played this game before) 1: Try to level up A LOT, because there are some bosses with more than 20 HP. 2: Save up Tixs and Buxs, There some merchants that sell useful cards,like Vampire, whenever you hit a enemy you get 1HP. 3: Attack when you meet a enemy because you can do more damage in the fight. 4: I recommend playing with other people, if you keeping dying (I bet you won't though) 5: Use Hard Mode with enemys under 7HP I know you take 1+ damage, but you can get to lvl 20 in 30mins (I'm pretty sure) 6: SP is the most important upgrade, because some attacks only do 1. 7: Training Wheels is the best for a boss called "The Ice King I think that's his name) 8: When you get to the caves, and beat the boss, there's a hotel that you sleep in a bed, When you sleep, you restore HP and SP That's all I know, Maybe in your next video, I'll give you more tips. Note: At 13:47 , when you got there, I think there was a lamp, with a cheezburger on top. There was also a trampoline near it. YuB, I hope you read this, and if any tips doesn't work, I'm sorry.
YESSSSSS yub getting atkfxr this early is crazy i havent even gotten it yet ok tips 1) you can change your menu color and your idle animation in the settings 2) for quicktime events, you want to click as close to the contact frame as you can. if you time it close enough and the attack is close ranged, you will do a superguard which cancels all damage that would have been taken and will also do 1 damage to the attacker. 3) you can find bux around the overworld, which lets you buy some really good cards at the sketchy figure shop. there is currently 34 bux in the game (or somewhere around that cuz i forgo)
Fun fact: If you beat a chapter with the hard mode card enabled you get a badge, you can do this for all three chapters currently in the game, so any chapter works fine.

Yipee he playin block tales :D Also tip go high in BP, it allows your DMG to get to 6 within the next like 15 minutes of gameplay from where the video ended. Also once you beat chapter 1 in bizville theres an hole that leads to an area thats a 40 fight long gauntlet, its the true challenge of the game. (Unlocking it is before chapter 1 ends but im not trynna spoil the exact thing)
I never clicked this fast in my life. Here are some wonderful tips from ME 1. You can let the little bar on the sword bounce off the wall one time if the green cube is too close. 2. Defending restores sp 3. You shouldn’t forget to use your items. They are really useful later when n the chapter. (more block tales now grr)
You are literally the most cracked new person, I dont watch you but dang you must have some good gaming experience to learn so quickly Edit: Also bp is very op as you can get hp+ and sp+ cards instead of upgrading them, also the devs made a cap for bp only because you could get seriously op with bp. One last thing, you can change your stat points in the bizvile library costing 15 tix for every stat point change

The difficulty scales depending on your party size, so having people join you isn't just an easy mode. 1 Member = Enemies get half as many turns 2 Members = Normal 3 Members = Slightly More Enemy HP 4 Members = Even More Enemy HP Also, the entire soundtrack for this game is amazing. Some random lizard has one of the best themes in the whole game
komodo dragon genuinely has the third best track with bubonic plant in second and sentient statue being in first, also somehow the joke battle (terry) has the fourth best track in the game
Love your video...here some quick tips for later game: -the location you in now it cave...after you finish your cave and enter the snow town ...you better quick teleport back to bezvile "where you staet the game" and go explore in background...you find planks that you can destroy it with sword...after you do it you fight with some mouse and than get the card sword tose ...let you hit flying enemy with sword...cost 1 sp...it sounds useless but you get it why it important later -ball slot it more working with effect and sword slot it more like a dps weapon -ball no matter what his second hit always deal one damage...no matter if enemy have inf defense... second hit from balls always damage 1 -better trun off your party because some of the people could be broken...aka they way more chapter ahead from you so they have alot of hp and card...make the game a little bit lame because you gotta get carry -bp is the most important stats in your level up...at least try push your stats around hp 15 or 20 sp 10 or 15 bp 12 or 15...the later game the good card gonna cost alot bp -some of the card stay in strategies if you couldn't find it or some of them passive -that the basic rules and more pro rules could spoiled a little bit so you should be fine with this tip...hope you don't get cooked by the mini boss that waiting for you ;D
Yo YuB there’s another really fun Roblox game you should try called Grace. It’s similar to Doors and Pressure except it’s a lot faster like a speedrun, and I think you would like it since it’s super fast paced like Ultrakill
no way you cannot believe how long ive been waiting for you to try this game oh my god tips: save items for bossfights so that you can heal during battle (thats the mistake a roblox youtuber called Sketch made before a miniboss you haven't encountered yet) dont spam space while trying to dodge/counter or trying to make your weapon do more damage, it will sometimes not work at the start of some bossfights there will be funny gren pad make sure to *ALWAYS* step on them if your low on hp Fight as many enemies as possible to gain more xp and level up, You can upgrade your HP, SP or BP HP - healt pts, self explainitory SP - basically pp from earthbound, spend sp in exchange for more powerful attacks BP - equip more cards, terry already told you how they work currently the max lvl is 15 (goes 3 more lvl's up every chapter) i normally spend most of my level points on SP and HP since im a tanker build but you can go with whatever type of build you want
I’m gonna say, there’s a part of the game where SOMEONE tells you to help SOMEONE else, you’ll know if you read his dialogue and if you save him he will have an op reward only pick it up if you (not likely) struggle

Hey yub, an useful tip for dodging So the "training wheel" card you equipped... During battles when an enemy attacks you, a red exclamation mark appears above your avatar When you see that exclamation mark, that's when you have to dodge the attack in order to not get hit! If you manage to dodge but the text say "GOOD!" You will still take damage but much less, this happens if you try dodging too early or didn't time it well If you manage to dodge and the text says "GREAT!" Then you timed your dodge perfectly and doing that makes you counter the attack, dealing 1 damage to the enemy immediatly after dodging

yub here are some tips: if you enter menu, you can change the animation flavor (you can check how it looks at profile) for battles and turn off an option for people to join you in battle (just in case you get swarmed) BUX are the currency used for the guy next to the hotel in bizville (the card i reccomend the most from that guy is ante up), and TIX are for everything else if you press space right when an enemy hits you, you will deflect it and/or take less damage if you hit enemies with a weapon before they reach you in the overworld, you will get more damage for one turn (depending on the weapon you used, you do more or less damage) hope these help!
TIPS & MECHANICS HP works similar to earthbound, you can heal before you reach 0 hp to not die, while it's your turn the HP dropping is significantly slower There are some variations of evading attacks, with ranged attacks you can't counter, while with close-ranged attacks you can You can either block it, nullifying most of the damage (almost perfect accuracy) or counter it (perfect accuracy), dealing 1 dmg Some enemies have special stats such as: Flying (cant hit with sword) Spiked (pops your ball but u can still use it) Defense (if the amount is more than your damage, it reflects your attack) Some enemies can have items (like 22:05 the rightmost enemy) they can use it but if you kill them quick enough, they will drop it. This means that an enemy can heal his ally, or damage you with it If you dont want people at all (its better since it avoids spoilers or fights) you can get a private server (its free), 0:40 you can go down and click on servers, then create a private server
I love how you get ideas from ultrakill and try use those ideas in blocktales like hitting the sword with the ball. We really made you into an ultrakill fan that's crazy
If you want, there’s a blockade back in north bizville where you can get a 1bp card called “sword toss” that allows you to hit flying enemies! In chapter 2 you’ll also be able to find a cannonball card that allows you to hit spiky enemies with your ball. Hope you have fun with the rest of the game!

Tips for once you get to "Roadtown" (by your progression you will get there next episode) PS: I tried to say the tips noone else mentioned for variety . . - Don't forget you got bux and can use it in the first town at the beginning (use the map in menu to fast travel) - If you ever want to change your stats (HP, SP, BP) go to the library in bizwill and change them for tix. - There is a secret location in the upper terrain of roadtown with loot. The entrance cant be see so you have to go and hug some walls to find it. - Remember to talk to your grandma
Oh yeah some tips for the weapons Ball: the ball is a really good weapon that focus on applying effects onto enemies later on and can defeat multiple enemies at once Sword: the sword is pretty simple it doesn't apply effects however it focuses on dealing damage, i.e trough power stab, also there's a secret card called sword toss if you backtrack to bizville and go to the upper left which allows you to hit flying enemies with a sword Later on you'll have to choose between focusing on one of them or simply use them both, i won't spoil it but you'll most likely see it in the next video
I recommend using safeguard or defense+ if u want more defense permanently If u become to good and u think the game is to easy you can use hard mode for extra xp but I like using ante up for more damage U can get a quick charge up at the start if up if you hit the enemy first(I don’t think it works on boss fights)also when doing the startup charge thing don’t go to close,you can use ball toss or swing(sword) U can also access multiplayer mode if u go to the party on the right(max 4 players I think) U can change animation flavor and text colour at options (settings) and animation flavors changes ur animation into different ones(my fav is apple and chocolate tbh) Anyways I do recommend you play this more often,it’s a really fun game and full of Easter eggs It’s my fav game (along with flicker ig)basically my fav fighting game. I do hope I see more of this game in the future😊
tip: Blocking is when you guard a little too early or a little too late, it removes half of the incoming damage. Dodging is when you guard perfectly, it removes all of incoming damage. Countering is when you guard perfectly against melee attacks, it removes all of incoming damage whilst dealing damage to the enemy. Deflecting is when you or an enemy out-defend an incoming attack.
This game does the "early Roblox" style and give it its own twist so well and I think that's what's most pleasing aside from the turn-based RPG aspects. ANYWAY make more videos on this pls it's so fun to watch :D

just one small tip for you, most of the cards in blocktales cater to multiplayer parties with certain roles
for example, some cards will have you sacrificing attack damage in turn for being able to support your friends in battle
the game works fine singleplayer but if you can get a party with some other creators going i think these videos will reach peak chaos :3
edit: oh, one other thing, when unlocking new powers backtrack and see if there's anything that looked unusual in the environment, you can unlock some pretty cool cards and areas just by taking a few notes during the journey (i.e. there's something in the sewer of the first area!! but you need a powerup you get way later on to access it !!)

-training wheels isn’t really all that great, just learn the timing through trial and error
-change the music in setting to not distort on low hp
-you can hit enemies with the ball or sword outside of encounters to get the jump on them
-there are animation “flavors” in the settings that change your idle animation and win animation

Epic tips and tricks:
- If you find enemies with armor, use sword since it can penetrate half of the armor
- The bomb Is able to do 2 damage to every enemy and to you
- In Bizville (the city at the beggining) there's a shop where you can buy items and in iron café (a restaurant at Bizville) you can find Two shops
- If you choose the wrong stat when you level up, go to the library at Bizville where you can respec your stats
- In the menu, there's a fast travel option. You can teleport to certain wihout having to walk
some quick simple tips (and fun stuff) in case YuB notices this comment:
- incase the sword timing is too quick to land it in the green to deal more damage, the bar actually bounces back when it hits the far right side, so you dont have to hit it on your first go
- you can use your ball, or sword, to attack the enemies in the overworld before initiating a battle, doing so will give you an attack boost for one turn
- in the overworld there are some spots with secret BUX and/or cards that you can find, and in bizville you can enter a few of the shops/buildings
fun cosmetic thing:
- in the options, you can choose “Menu” and “Animation” flavors, which change the color of your UI and change your animations when in battle

Some good tips for YuB:
-to get an advantage over an enemy you’re fighting, hit them with your ball or sword to increase your damage by 1, and the buff won’t go away until you use an attack.
-Enemies with a spike icon under their health bar are immune to the ball, which means you can only hit them with your sword.
-Running from battles makes you lose tix, so only run when you absolutely need to. Also, running from battles has a chance to fail.
-Dodging requires FRAME PERFECT timing, while blocking is only when the enemy is right about to hit you.

its just got tighter timing than the regular block, as if it were frame perfect s o m e battles would be impossible due to some attacks not being blockable
that's not true. you only have frame perfect dodges when you purposefully use the hard mode+ cards and use the max thorn cards to lower your defense and blocking window even more(but thats not worth it bc even failing to dodge one attack would do 5 extra damage and you usually wouldnt want that. the current hardest boss in the game would literally demolish you in one turn even if you have the max hp possible with that setup if you fail to dodge a single attack)
You're gonna love this game's soundtrack. It was made by a few people, one of them is Nicopatty. Also there is a card called linebounce that you get very soon after you ended the video. It's a pretty cool card that lets your ball bounce to all the the next enemy as many times as you hit the quick time event.
It got nerfed not a long ago. Now instead of doing the same amount of damage on every enemy, it divides the damage into every enemy

Both the sword and ball moves have weaknesses:
- The ball gets poppes to enemies with the spiky attribute
- The sword cant attack enemies that are flying
However, there is a way to counter each other, with cards:
- Sword has a card in bizville that you get by breaking planks in a specific zone, killing some rats and you get it in a trash can
- Ball has another card for it too, but its in chapter 2, so i wont say anything yet

Hey YuB! I’ve been a fan of your videos quite a while ago and I really like the Block Tales video! If you don’t mind, please play more and I’ll surely give you some tips! (Without spoiling lol)
-At one point you noticed when you dodged an attack, you didn’t always counter attacks. That’s because when you did counterattack, you blocked right before the attack landed. Whether you counterattack or not, essentially depends on when you block attacks. For Projectile attacks, you just completely dodge those instead of blocking!
-As you might know already, you can enable and disable whether random members can join you in your battles. I don’t mind about your choice, but I do Recommend playing with friends if you can. Mid-bosses Bosses do get a little challenging, and are designed for multiple people to go against, so be careful!
-Lastly, I suggest you prepare yourself for bosses and mid-bosses when you think you’re going to fight one. But sometimes they can happen a little unexpectedly.

here’s some advice for future parts of the game:
Once you get the hang of timing your attacks, you should get “Ante Up” from the bux shop, it makes it so you gain an extra attack point, but if you fail the action, you deal 0 damage.
The extra hard mode badges give you a fairly good amount of an xp bonus, so whichever of the downsides don’t seem too bad at the time (2x damage, no superguards, or 1/2 guarding window), you should equip the respective hard mode badge to level up more.
also, never use thick skull. It does nothing besides disable xp gain.
Finally, sp and hp are both great increases, but there are cards that provide extra sp and hp, so usually I level up bp, that way you have the extra hp and sp, and can swap it out for cards you might need later on.

Aaaaa I’m so happy you’re playing this!! When I started I went in feeling just as skeptical as you were, then warmed up to it really fast and was surprised by how high quality it was. Dude I swear, this game is so peak. I’m so so excited for you to see demo 3, it genuinely blew me away more than anything else in this game.
Also, builderman is the creator of roblox, while shedletsky is an old roblox staff member from the early days when the game was just starting out. This game, being held in 2010 roblox, has plenty of references to old old games and moderators. Will point out any i can :]
Also, DO look for secrets! There is a special currency called Bux you can find in hidden spots, which you can use to buy fun stuff in Bizville.

im SOSOSOSO glad ur playing this, and i’d love to see you play more. :) If you ever play again, there IS a fast travel system in the menu if you havent seen it already. you should consider heading back to bizville whenever you get your next fast travel checkpoint and checking out some of the shops there, like the iron cafe. Some of the items can be pretty helpful. Also, there's a LOT of bux hidden around every area, and you definitely missed a few. some will be pretty hard to find, you should look around as many are hidden behind walls that wont be visible.

Seeing one of my favorite youtubers try out my favorite Roblox game made my day ngl. A silly game played by a silly guy. I do hope you'll continue this game cuz it's a wild ride and I'm certain you're gonna love it! I can't offer in-game tips cuz I'd just be repeating other people at this point, but I would like to recommend getting a private server to avoid other players potentially spoiling the game for you whether it's through chat or joining your battles, cuz not only is the gameplay great but the story is pretty good too!

ALSO. there's lots of goodies hidden around, so keep looking! you missed one back by the second trampoline, where if you jumped on it and landed on the lamppost nearest it you'd have gotten a burger. bombs are the only way to defeat a mini "boss"(quotations because it's not really a boss)(you can buy them near it so dw about stock piling em yet)
practice dodging! there's a mini boss that does HEAVY DAMAGE with each attack, so you DON'T wanna get hit.
you can play with people, but you can disable it in settings(i think, i mainly play in a private server because i'm stupid and lonely)
also also i did not expect yub to give the deepest voice to a literal 12 year old(red, he's a kid but i dunno his exact age. him and blue are probably around the same age, so it's the same for her) it's kinda funny lolz
I'm so glad ur playing block tales (AND HOW THE HECK DID YOU GET ATK-FX R ITS LIKE A 2%)
Tips:
-Have some BP upgrades but don't max it until like chapter 3 cuz you'll have less hp/sp
-Using a knight build is the best for dps but a baller build is better for support due to all of the all cards that inflict status conditions. (NOTE: On most bosses status conditions are not guaranteed to be afflicted on them)
-All waterfalls have a secret behind them, even frozen ones.
-If you're alone you get 2 turns, if you're with other people you only get 1 turn each.
-Don't equip every card you find and waste ur bp like I did lol
-There's a sword-related card back at Bizville(the starting area) that you need to break some planks for
-If you take mortal damage, your hp will tick down and during this time you can heal to, yk, not die
This next part is a small
🚨 SPOILER 🚨
After beating chapter 1 go to the far left of the airport, and enter the building with an open door, there you can talk to a guy to refight the final bosses of each chapter, and if you refight the chapter 1 boss multiple times you get a cool card.
I find it really funny on how he gives red such a manly voice, altough he is a child, blue's a girl too btw
Hey Yub, just so you know, back in Bizville, there's a blocked off area next to the library in the first part of the town. If you break it, there's a bunch of rats inside that you have to defeat in order to get a special ability. Once aquired, the ability allows you to throw ur sword at enemies, which is pretty epic in my opinion. Love ur videos btw, keep it up!
heres some tips for ya.
- you CAN strike an enemy first if you swing your sword/throw your ball at them before the battle starts
- when holding the space for the sword quick time event, you can hold it as long as you want and itll keep going back and forth
- you can also change your menu color/battle animation if you change your "flavor" in settings
subscribed purely because of this, keep it up :3
Also tip, if you're having trouble with the timing windows you can enable the practice mode card, it gives you a heads up before you need to click.
btw some tips
- you get an attack boost on your first attack if you use ball or sword on an enemy in the overworld
- defend can only be used on the first turn, on the second turn its replaced with pass
- you can use fast travel in the menu

Heres a tip: you can dodge or counter an attack from the enemies by pressing spacebar or lmb at the perfect timing. You can also get more advateges by getting more bp for cards. Another tip you should know is that the enviorment changes when you do different interactions with (for now only 2) npcs. And finally, you can get a secret menu/animation flavour by donating the game min. 20 robux!

Here are some very useful tips I think you should use (because I played this game before)
1: Try to level up A LOT, because there are some bosses with more than 20 HP.
2: Save up Tixs and Buxs, There some merchants that sell useful cards,like Vampire, whenever you hit a enemy you get 1HP.
3: Attack when you meet a enemy because you can do more damage in the fight.
4: I recommend playing with other people, if you keeping dying (I bet you won't though)
5: Use Hard Mode with enemys under 7HP I know you take 1+ damage, but you can get to lvl 20 in 30mins (I'm pretty sure)
6: SP is the most important upgrade, because some attacks only do 1.
7: Training Wheels is the best for a boss called "The Ice King I think that's his name)
8: When you get to the caves, and beat the boss, there's a hotel that you sleep in a bed, When you sleep, you restore HP and SP
That's all I know, Maybe in your next video, I'll give you more tips.
Note: At 13:47 , when you got there, I think there was a lamp, with a cheezburger on top. There was also a trampoline near it.

1) you can change your menu color and your idle animation in the settings
2) for quicktime events, you want to click as close to the contact frame as you can. if you time it close enough and the attack is close ranged, you will do a superguard which cancels all damage that would have been taken and will also do 1 damage to the attacker.
3) you can find bux around the overworld, which lets you buy some really good cards at the sketchy figure shop. there is currently 34 bux in the game (or somewhere around that cuz i forgo)

-the location you in now it cave...after you finish your cave and enter the snow town ...you better quick teleport back to bezvile "where you staet the game" and go explore in background...you find planks that you can destroy it with sword...after you do it you fight with some mouse and than get the card sword tose ...let you hit flying enemy with sword...cost 1 sp...it sounds useless but you get it why it important later
-ball slot it more working with effect and sword slot it more like a dps weapon
-ball no matter what his second hit always deal one damage...no matter if enemy have inf defense... second hit from balls always damage 1
-better trun off your party because some of the people could be broken...aka they way more chapter ahead from you so they have alot of hp and card...make the game a little bit lame because you gotta get carry
-bp is the most important stats in your level up...at least try push your stats around hp 15 or 20 sp 10 or 15 bp 12 or 15...the later game the good card gonna cost alot bp
-some of the card stay in strategies if you couldn't find it or some of them passive

Yo YuB there’s another really fun Roblox game you should try called Grace. It’s similar to Doors and Pressure except it’s a lot faster like a speedrun, and I think you would like it since it’s super fast paced like Ultrakill
no way you cannot believe how long ive been waiting for you to try this game oh my god
tips:
save items for bossfights so that you can heal during battle (thats the mistake a roblox youtuber called Sketch made before a miniboss you haven't encountered yet)
dont spam space while trying to dodge/counter or trying to make your weapon do more damage, it will sometimes not work
at the start of some bossfights there will be funny gren pad make sure to *ALWAYS* step on them if your low on hp
Fight as many enemies as possible to gain more xp and level up, You can upgrade your HP, SP or BP
HP - healt pts, self explainitory
SP - basically pp from earthbound, spend sp in exchange for more powerful attacks
BP - equip more cards, terry already told you how they work
currently the max lvl is 15 (goes 3 more lvl's up every chapter)
i normally spend most of my level points on SP and HP since im a tanker build but you can go with whatever type of build you want

Hey yub, an useful tip for dodging
So the "training wheel" card you equipped... During battles when an enemy attacks you, a red exclamation mark appears above your avatar
When you see that exclamation mark, that's when you have to dodge the attack in order to not get hit!
If you manage to dodge but the text say "GOOD!" You will still take damage but much less, this happens if you try dodging too early or didn't time it well
If you manage to dodge and the text says "GREAT!" Then you timed your dodge perfectly and doing that makes you counter the attack, dealing 1 damage to the enemy immediatly after dodging

If you want to hide chat/other people you can play in a private server
yub here are some tips:
if you enter menu, you can change the animation flavor (you can check how it looks at profile) for battles and turn off an option for people to join you in battle (just in case you get swarmed)
BUX are the currency used for the guy next to the hotel in bizville (the card i reccomend the most from that guy is ante up), and TIX are for everything else
if you press space right when an enemy hits you, you will deflect it and/or take less damage
if you hit enemies with a weapon before they reach you in the overworld, you will get more damage for one turn (depending on the weapon you used, you do more or less damage)

TIPS & MECHANICS
HP works similar to earthbound, you can heal before you reach 0 hp to not die, while it's your turn the HP dropping is significantly slower
There are some variations of evading attacks, with ranged attacks you can't counter, while with close-ranged attacks you can
You can either block it, nullifying most of the damage (almost perfect accuracy) or counter it (perfect accuracy), dealing 1 dmg
Some enemies have special stats such as:
Flying (cant hit with sword)
Spiked (pops your ball but u can still use it)
Defense (if the amount is more than your damage, it reflects your attack)
Some enemies can have items (like 22:05 the rightmost enemy) they can use it but if you kill them quick enough, they will drop it. This means that an enemy can heal his ally, or damage you with it
If you dont want people at all (its better since it avoids spoilers or fights) you can get a private server (its free), 0:40 you can go down and click on servers, then create a private server

If you want, there’s a blockade back in north bizville where you can get a 1bp card called “sword toss” that allows you to hit flying enemies! In chapter 2 you’ll also be able to find a cannonball card that allows you to hit spiky enemies with your ball. Hope you have fun with the rest of the game!
I am so glad you’re playing this game, you are my favorite RUclipsr playing my favorite Roblox game and that brings joy to me, and trust me the songs get better, also here is a tip, if you hit them first as you are encountering them, you will be able to deal more damage on your first turn
you should play this more!
also a tip: for the sword, you can continue holding the attack, and once it reaches the end of the bar it will go the opposite way, allowing you to more easily and get the green part if its super close to the start (this can be done twice)

- Don't forget you got bux and can use it in the first town at the beginning (use the map in menu to fast travel)
- If you ever want to change your stats (HP, SP, BP) go to the library in bizwill and change them for tix.
- There is a secret location in the upper terrain of roadtown with loot. The entrance cant be see so you have to go and hug some walls to find it.
- Remember to talk to your grandma
Oh yeah some tips for the weapons
Ball: the ball is a really good weapon that focus on applying effects onto enemies later on and can defeat multiple enemies at once
Sword: the sword is pretty simple it doesn't apply effects however it focuses on dealing damage, i.e trough power stab, also there's a secret card called sword toss if you backtrack to bizville and go to the upper left which allows you to hit flying enemies with a sword
Later on you'll have to choose between focusing on one of them or simply use them both, i won't spoil it but you'll most likely see it in the next video
quick tip this game has free private servers so you can make one and use it to avoid other players spoiling stuff in chat
This game is PEAK and i am so exited that you are finaly playing it, also when you get to Demo/Chapter 3...

bro, the explosion effect you got was a VERY rare card, its pure cosmetic but im actually impressed
I recommend using safeguard or defense+ if u want more defense permanently
If u become to good and u think the game is to easy you can use hard mode for extra xp but I like using ante up for more damage
U can get a quick charge up at the start if up if you hit the enemy first(I don’t think it works on boss fights)also when doing the startup charge thing don’t go to close,you can use ball toss or swing(sword)
U can also access multiplayer mode if u go to the party on the right(max 4 players I think)
U can change animation flavor and text colour at options (settings) and animation flavors changes ur animation into different ones(my fav is apple and chocolate tbh)
Anyways I do recommend you play this more often,it’s a really fun game and full of Easter eggs

tip: Blocking is when you guard a little too early or a little too late, it removes half of the incoming damage. Dodging is when you guard perfectly, it removes all of incoming damage.
Countering is when you guard perfectly against melee attacks, it removes all of incoming damage whilst dealing damage to the enemy. Deflecting is when you or an enemy out-defend an incoming attack.
This game does the "early Roblox" style and give it its own twist so well and I think that's what's most pleasing aside from the turn-based RPG aspects. ANYWAY make more videos on this pls it's so fun to watch :D
