The Thing is by far the best Marvel superhero and the most underrated, because despite his strange appearance he has surprising heroic feats. This is undoubtedly his best version. I always love the prosthetic suits. I hope he comes back with that style without depending on CGI.

But Reed Richards doesn't want to see Ben's future.
Prefer the recent Thing because: of how bigger in his new form than his original, he's fighting enemies with his powers, and his personality.

To the idiotic morons who would complain about this minor detail. Ben Grimm does not grow in height as Thing. Probably 3 inches cuz of the rocks but that's it at most. Him appearing taller than 6feet tall is very much a "Depending on the writer and/ or artist" Thing, mostly to keep him a head or foot smaller than Hulk (Unless he's 12feet tall or bigger).
It's like The Thing with some delusional people thinking that Ben's human form should be buff like The Rock's instead of Michael's here, which is actually more accurate.
Neither of these are the case however with the 2015 film because it is inspired by the ultimate Fantastic Four books, which is where Ben is taller as Thing
