loved your video and positive opinion but i see its a bit too expensive for the location, topography, construction and work it needs to prevent fire or flooding.. navigating the landwithknee problems will not be possible
Some of the views as you approach the gate of the house and in front look like paintings, or that they would make good paintings, very picturesque.

99K for that ??!!!! Jesus the insane property bubble in Portugal has really got out of hand ! i give it six more months before the inevitable crash . would be madness to buy anything in Portugal for the next 12months
2 hectares of land with a fully functional/habitable house on it. Is not cheap, but not overpriced either.

Who ever buys this property just needs to get a small tractor,cut some trees around the boundaries and keep plowing the land,since they have plenty of water there's potential for planting a small orchard with a good variety of fruit trees and even a vineyard and plant some eating variety of chestnuts.
Asking price is way too much for what it's worth as it is in my opinion 😉

It’s so weird how the houses are attached like row houses
A lot of rural properties I have visited are divided up like this. I'm guessing that the family members who inherit these types of places will divide it up so they can all own a slice.

In my opinion this place with land included not have a valium the more 30.000. Euros . 99.000€ is a lot expensive.
Most of these rural properties have been abandoned by Portuguese for many years. They saw no value in them and wanted to live abroad or in the big cities.
Because of this the prices were historically low. Foreigners saw the low prices and how this could give them the ability to semi-retire and live a basic, sustainable lifestyle on the land.
Foreign investment is breathing life back into the rural areas of Portugal and new families are fixing up these old properties and adding value to the area. I'm not sure how this disadvantages native Portuguese as you say.
The more foreign buyers, the higher the prices have become, and now all of the sudden Portuguese are seeing the value in what they once abandoned.
To reiterate, I don't set the prices of the properties I film. I'm not an estate agent and I don't make commission from their sale. I am a videographer and make property tours for buyers who hire me when they can't visit them in person.

These rural properties get inherited by families who over time started to separate them into different plots of land. Its not so much town planning as its probably family feuding over who gets what.
Prices have really gone up don't you think?
We have noticed a very large influx of foreigner's moving to Central portugal, and buying up properties, over the last 3 years. Estate agents tell me they don't have enough properties on their books to satisfy all the demand. With all that demand and foreign buying power prices only go up.

I think the generator is a backup for the winter if there's long periods with no sun. The dry summer months should have plenty of sunshine to recharge the solar system batteries 😁👍

Beautiful property and you have done a great job showing it. It has a lot going for it. My only concern would be 1) the forest fires in the summer months given our climate crisis - this risk can be managed with the right interventions 2) The boundary line particularly the North to South deviding line between the 2 properties gives me a lot of question marks. I would want to make sure the property borders are clearly marked on the title deeds before proceeding with the purchase. Otherwise gorgeous property and Thank you for sharing

Hey Ken! I see that some properties on Idealista sometimes will say that the 'land' has an approved building by the city. Does this mean if someone buys the land, they have to pay and accept the building that has been approved to be built? Or does it mean that it has approval for the owner to choose and build his own home? And/or does it mean they have to use the approved builder, if there is one?
I haven't heard of that before. Maybe they are saying that they have planning permission for some sort of building or something like that.

If someone wanted to purchase a property, would the buyer have to be there in person?
The people who sold our farm to us weren't in the country at the time. They gave power of attorney to our estate agent to sell the house to us. I think you can do the same thing when purchasing a property here. Give POA to someone like a lawyer to act in your name and handle the purchase for you.

What does the tax for the house cost per month or year ? I guess the only cost is the tax?
Property tax is very cheap in rural areas. We pay around 60 euros per year for our 3.5 hectare farm. It varies from place to place though
