As far as I know, Shaoji has a hand in writing Final Lesson. It's a pretty popular fact in the community. In one of Sparkle's Honkai 3rd trailers, they even paid homage to Shaoji being the one responsible in writing Final lesson when sparkle travelled to the past and killed Shaoji just before he could submit his final draft of the Final Lesson script.
My two major crack theories Phainon is Nanook, during this arc we will see Phainon become the aeon of destruction by the end. likely due to a desire to destroy the black tide. heroes with golden blood of the gods, a time titan, an enigmatic third path having great influence. Greeks love their tragic heroes and what would be more tragic than a hero becoming a source of suffering and unable to die, Nanook is seen crying tears of golden blood just saying. lol Mem is Elysia or at the very least a medium connecting Trailblazer and Elysia.
I think Nanook ascended from a different star system/planet, though he may be one of the "3 emanator-level entities" that arose from Amphoreus(the third secret path they didn't say in the stream? It may be Destruction is my guess), with Cyrene almost certainly being the Remembrance one. No clue on the Erudition one though.

You should ask yourself, would the enigmata want to obscure information about the birth of an aeon? Yes, it would. There also happens to be a time controlling titan as well involved so we can't even use the timeline don't match argument in full confidence.
My only thing I have I mind is that maybe an Aeon is "born" on that planet far far far long ago and be the link about these questions "What is divinity?" "Will your answer be any different, Amphoreus?" But that's all😂

I don't know man, as an FGO player, this reminds me a lot of Lostbelt 5, the greek pantheon as giant mechas? split to 2 parts like Atlantis then Olympus? this is just my crack prediciton, we'll arrive in Amphoreus and meet with Aglaea etc, but somehow we fell into a trap from someone we trusted and will be sent to the underworld, meet Castorice and receiving her help, journeying the underworld's sea river and islands while recruiting and completing task/labors the usual greek heroes faces in the journey like the Argonauts. And when we finally arrive back at the top, we'll found out that Aglaea, an Aphrodite proxy, has been controlling the scene with her rule over fascination and mind control. After defeating a lot of enemies and titans, we will finally reach the end (genesis) just to be interupted by a 3rd party slashing a gap into the void and risking the leak of Honkai into Amphoreus, and then we will be faced with 2 choices : Use Genesis and repeat the cycle of the Tragic Hero, sacrificing him into Aeon-hood to overule the fate of amphoreus trapping it in a time loop, OR, sacrificing a certain pink-haired entity to use her authority and closing the rift, preventing Honkai from leaking, erasing her and an Aeon existence from the universe. Either we get Elysia, or we get Kebin... we have to choose :'v

8 patches, enough to get all chrysos heirs (6 patches for 12 + 1 Aglaea in 3.0), including Aglaea in 3.0, Tribbios & Mydei in 3.1, and 2 more extras. I bet they would put our Phainon and Cyrene in 3.7 to drag our thirst for them, and they would boost HSR revenue to the top again. I wonder who would be the 2 extras be.... any idea?
Tbh I don't mind if they decide to copy Flamechaser story from HI3 because THE MAJORITY of people who play HSR nowadays do not play HI3 or at least not that deep on HI3 lore and they didn't want to spend several hours playing HI3 just to see Flamechaser story so this is good for introducing flamechaser story to more wide players base with a different aspect from HSR lore itself so it's not a complete copy paste of the original flamechaser story
At around the 30 minute mark in the vod you were so immersed in talking about how the patch drops the day after your birthday you managed to miss the entire section talking about HI3 references and how Phainon and Cyrene are being considered brand new characters with separate fates.
Oh I went back, trust and I love that they’re doing that! As much as I love for example Acheron, I have said they pushed it too hard since it did make players who only play Star Rail as if they’re missing major points about her. I’m still excited and both characters are “design” inspired and I will still be getting them 🙏
I think people are jumping on the "new character" statement a bit too much. They literally also point out that of course you'll be hit with nostalgia and they'll be glad if your feelings from the past are merging with the new characters, it's the new players that they are hoping build new memories with the cast. Even with Acheron they didn't push the honkai references very far, she was just the secondary protag for Penacony like DH/feixiao for luofu and Seele/Bronya for Belobog.
@@darknessknows1235 That isn't really true. They really pushed the HI3 references with Acheron. Her past planet, asking multiple times about familiarity, a dozen small easter eggs. Even a hidden optional dialogue which ended with a picture of her younger self, which, again, has no relevance to pure HSR players. But where the line was slightly crossed (i.e. where pure HSR players found the story particularly odd) was in two major points. First, her fairly long introduction and reminiscence laden with hints (and different HI3 music) with Welt, combined with Welts history story. Second, she was basically the secondary protagonist, and it is downright weird for people totally not in the loop why the tension filled height of her story was her revealing her real name, a name which has no justification of being important in any way in HSR. It was beautiful storytelling, but it absolutely felt weird to those without any exposure to HI3 references. Knowing that the new characters, while "inspired" from HI3 characters and Flame Chase, are not as worldly in their understanding of the Honkaiverse as Acheron and are also not as directly linked to their counter parts as Acheron, at least signals that most references will be in the visual design and easter eggs, although I'm happy to bet that Cyrene and Phainon will be given more nostalgia moments.

I have some worries in this version and I may get attacked for this one but I feel it needs to be addressed: I like the referencing stuffs in HSR. But lately, i fear that they are going too far in referencing them and HSR wont be a game of itself anymore. Its looking like HSR became just a marketing tool for HI3 in terms of story. Before that HI3 writer comes in this game, the referencing of HI3 characters are only little, and I love it bcoz we got actually new characters and new story, like the space station and xianzho alliance. It feels fresh and it really feels like a new game. Dont get me wrong, I played and love both games. And I love the referencing too. And I know their universes are connected. But now these are not just one character reference, its a bunch of HI3 characters in one planet, in one story arc, in one whole version. This really feels different from the HSR from before that writer comes in. That writer is good, dont get me wrong. I kinda like what he did with Acheron, bringing in Mei's name in new character model, which is new in HSR (Bcoz before we have Himeko, Bronya with same models) But I can definitely feel the "forcing" in Archeron story just to become like HI3 Mei's. And now this Flamechase story is happening and they are not hiding it anymore with all the terms they are using. I just want games to be their own thing. Let HSR be HSR and HI3 be HI3. Referencing stuffs from other game is good, but too much might actually be bad for the game. But we will see...
The lotto thing makes no sense to skip, 700 jades is 4 pulls not impressive evdn for us free to players. Ive got most units at 70 to 75 pulls so that 15 to 20 variance for the 50/50 even isnt affected by the 4 pulls. Also even if you hit the 10% once you get most of it back but 500k jades gets you 20 guarenteed units, basically 40 tries so 20 units minimum if you lose every 50/50 but up to 40 units if your lucky
