it happened to me today. not very happy
dude, the fucking ending. you're actually lucky, cause i've had the same thing happen before at the end of a series (TWO SEPARATE TIMES) and not only did it get past the results and give me the error and not count as a win, it COUNTED IT AS A LOSS.
Once I got a communication error directly after somehow defeating Cohozuna in Salmon Run. And even though my team beat it, it didn’t count it for me. I know there’s not much of a difference between defeating Cohozuna than failing to kill him but man that still really pissed me off. Nintendo really needs to work on the online with this game. Oh and guess what? After that it wouldn’t let me play salmon run again because I disconnected so it temporarily banned me for the server’s own problem.

Around 3 games before this one I ran into DUDE and playing with the both of you made my day! My tri strike helped cap zone when the enemies were at 1 and I’m so happy we clutched out the win! I’m eventually going to have a highlight from this stream from my perspective go out on my channel when I get around to editing it lol. GGs once again!

I had to check in my own game to see if I had that same sticker. Turns out i do, I got it in the first two weeks or so but I figured it was "pretty rare", not the rarest or the most expensive sticker in the game. I assumed there were squid sister, off the hook or deep cut stickers that would've been the rarest.

s+ games are either really easy or you get destroyed in the first 30 seconds of the match and its never anything inbetween
Matchmaking doesn't seem to take into account your rank/elo. Only weapon combination.

@@internetguy7319 I was s+ -1600 with 20% win ratio and played as opponents to two top500 players from s2. One of them was kyo and confirmed at the time and long before he was s+50 9999.
I am -8000 now and still playing with top players. The fun part is that I am still top of my team while being crushed.
Ps. I climbed easily to s+ using my main s2 weapons but after I stopped sweating why I am still playing with them?
At -3000 I got matched against srbdude.
Last night for me was an exception and help me go from -2100 S+ to -1600

Just for anyone trying to get rid of that shield jumpoint special, aim at the top where that floating glowing thing is. They work like those disco light enemies in the hero mode that you have to shoot!
I like to throw bombs at shield for insta pop. Sometimes u can get quick kills on people lurking at edge of shield
or you can swim under the barrier sneaky style

Pro tip for Jay: When you capture zone or objective, the best thing to do is to try to have your team overwhelm the other teams spawn so you can keep the zone.

16:41 this has happened to me before. the game once refused to let me rank up by disconnecting every single time i won and doing nothing whenever i lost and it was super frustrating and the reason i quit Splatoon for a month.
I know the pain of getting food tickets, especially if it’s an SR capsule or mystery box because I usually don’t want them at all 😭

Jay, when playing zones against an explosher, you NEED to use that charge hold to ambush them. Their heavyweight speed loss will limit their dodging ability and slow attack speed leaves them nearly harmless. If you don’t kill them, they will be able to single handedly contest the zone
Also, the swim speed up drink overrides the brand ability. The brand has a 5x chance to roll the favored ability, drinks only give a 2x chance.
I remember this being the video that introduced me to JayMoji, clicking on it when it appeared in my recommended a while back was one of the best decisions I've ever made. He's now without a doubt my favorite RUclipsr ever, words cannot describe just how much his videos brighten up my days

that happened to me, on my 5th knockout in a row in series mode, it counted as a fkin loss
Mine also counted as a loss in series mode, but I don't remember the score I had then. For a week or more I wasn't getting any disconnects, but currently the ISP in my area is sucking absolute ass again. I had a round today where there were 5 disconnects and I was one of the last 3 remaining lol (you can see those on the score board). But I do think Nintendo is faulty at most, because I did not have issues to this degree in Splatoon 2. I may fire up Splatoon 2 the next time I have to wait, because "my last game didn't end naturally"

Don’t you just love the absolute sub par wifi chip that the switch uses. Couple that with Nintendo’s online service and it’s just misery. I’ve had my switch on hardwired Ethernet on a fiber internet connection and the shit still disconnects every few games.
