  • In this video, I'll talk about the best 10oz silver bars for stacking, and break them down into 4 categories. If you're a regular to this channel, you already know that I consider 10oz silver bars to be the "sweet spot" for stacking, because of the lower premiums, and the ability to add more silver weight for less money. And, THAT'S...the name of the game. Let's take a look at some Ten Ouncers!

    My 10 oz Britannia and RCM bars are in my " not for sale " stash. In a SHTF scenario these are the last to go. My LCS has already expressed an interest in them. Even though I more than doubled my money I regret selling my five 10 oz Johnson Mathey bars in 2012. Oh well, live and learn. Goal is to have a monster box of premium 10 oz bars.

    10oz bars stack nice and makes for easy math.
    When you said that if the spot goes up to 30 or 35oz it won't matter...thats 100% correct.
    The higher the spot gets, the less it matters what you have.
    I sold my stack in 2010-2011 There were TV ads buying Silver and Gold on every commercial break on TV on every channel. Buyers were setting up in hotels in every major city.
    Every dealer was paying the same, and it didn't matter if you had beat up old Buffalo rounds or MS70 graded ASE.
    They wanted it ALL and paid the same for EVERYTHING.
    Now I have 3 Silver stacks.
    90%, Vintage and everything else. Each with their own cost average. The "Everything else" stack is for ratio trades to turn Silver into Gold and tanking the cost average of both metals at the same time. I've been tempted to start trading, but with the ratio, I would be totally shooting myself in the foot, even though my numbers already work.

    Nadir bars, germania, RCM and some of the Royal Mint bars are all 4-9s fine.
    Just being 4-9s fine should carry a primium over all other 3-9s fine.
    If Nadir is the lowest price, and a good looking bar at that, then it should rightly be fitting as the bars to get as a 4-9 fine.
    Some bullion dealers do charge more for all 4-9s fine Ag over 3-9s, while others dont. Why should Nadir bars be the cheapest?
    Why is that?

    • @SilverGoldStackAttack
      @SilverGoldStackAttack  Год назад +1

      There truly is a small difference between 3 and 4-9’s fine, so I disagree that a premium should automatically apply to 4’s. For example, the Silver Maple is 4-9’s, but the Silver Eagle isn’t. And we know one is far more expensive than the other! Nadir puts out a nice product, but it’s not as familiar a name as some of the heavy hitters. Italpreziosi also puts out gorgeous bars, but they fall into the lower end of the price spectrum because they’re not a huge name. Either way, it’s an opportunity for us to stack quality silver weight at a lower cost. 😉

      Glad you found that amusing. My point was, while there are a LOT of fake generic bars out there, APMEX is a bit more difficult to duplicate. Maybe I didn’t clarify enough on the point, but go, you. 🎉🍾👍

      @@bigtrader7924 - Honestly, I guess it depends what you’re seeing out there. For example, for whatever reason, I see mostly SilverTown fakes. But, one visit to Temu, and you’ll see all the brands covered. It just boils down to how closely they can duplicate it. The APMEX design is a bit more complex, so it should be an easy spot to the eye. Actually launching a video on Thursday about this very topic. See what you think, and let me know your opinion.
