I wouldn’t say that after playing Little Goody Two Shoes…This ending means that the Strange Boy created a new timeline where Elise never did the contract with Him, meaning that she would still living in poverty but at least happily. However Goldia doesn’t have the same luck; those red shoes was a foreshadow that she would have the same *destiny* as her mother
You can confirm this in the ending picture of the Remake, where an alternative Goldia wears the same dress as Elise, while holding a book (probably Elise’s diary or smth like that)
