How powerful is his mother that the demon king is literally like a thrash to her. The other three saints of the dongning mansion were struggling pretty bad against their demon opponents. I assume theres like levels of saints i.e. beginner, intermediate and expert strength wise lol.
She's in the Dark Star Realm which is the 4th realm of the God and Demon Stage. This stage has 5 realms. After the 5th realm, they break into the next stage which is the Beyond God and Demon Stage. The master of Yuyang Palace is in the Sun Realm which is the 3rd realm. The other 2 elder Saints are weaker than that guy, so they're probably in the Immortal Realm which is the 2nd realm. His mom is very strong because she is a Saintess from the Saint Land and that's Yuanchu Mountain.
Gosh that is one of the best donghua out there with swallowed star and the like. Really excited to see what's next and while waiting imma read the novel
What a pleasant surpirse. I only intended to check 1 or 2 eps but ended up binge watching the entire anime. XD I love the unique take on the usual cultivation trope by giving each character a unique inate technique with like the coolest art styles. Esp the saint body forms. The only thing i hate is that senior yuanzhi died. T.T i saw the death flag from a mile away but still. He was too nice for this world. With one of the coolest saint body transformation and abilities. Nine tailed foxes always cool on any media. Sadly tho, these are like major death flags. They either die or turn to the darkside. Hahaha Cant wait for season 2. ❤❤

When MC's Lover kidnapped by the Yuanchu Mountain☠️ i think of how generic the way it do, i know Yuanchu Mountain is one of MC's goal but still, it feels generic bcz the MC got forced to climb the ladder faster since She will have higher status(probably already accepted into the School or some sht) and also MC most likely going to offend those Prodigy from the Capital bcz He seem to be from the countryside but want her(you know that saying of ugly frog want to eat a swan) even though They are childhood friend, it would be even more generic if She is used as tool like forced marriage🤷🏻 Sorry for the yapping, honestly i wouldn't watch it if I know i need to wait few years for season 2 if it isn't axed☠️ that extra episode probably just his journey to the Yuanchu Mountain

Read the novel after the series if you can. I've read the novel and basically the animators have indicated that they are changing his future self. So the novel and the animators may not match up. For example, his grandmother does not die in the attack in the novel. She waits until he joins the Mountain and becomes a Saint because he is the future of the family. His father was a body Saint because he joined the group that seeks out demons and their allies and no one in his family can know. In the book he tells his son this. In the book Meng Chaun doesn't even learn that his mother is still alive until past halfway if the book. And that's AFTER he becomes powerful enough to destroy most demons on his own. The animators is taking a different path to the book and they are both AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, my advice, read the book after. Or at least look at the book as different and don't compare.
